Cheating! They put ads everywhere to say they have many promotions. We came to open the new account at the end of September last year. But when we come again this January to check out the account, they told us you should open another more account last September to get the bonus. Why the clients didn’t do that for us even though they knew why we came here to open the new account. And now, they asked again and again to say Oh this is not the promotion you chose, you did it open the other accounts such like that….So angry and disappointed! Will not come again and will not use any of their services! If you do not want to deal with such no-credibility branch, do not come here.

Horrible experience with Kenneth Agunobi. I do not recommend this branch at all. I applied for a credit card and asked many questions that he could not answer. When I questioned him, he gave false information and had to look it up, confirming the information he previously provided was incorrect. They required a second piece of ID to finish the application which was started originally online in December and in person on Jan 3rd and called on Jan 11th to request secondary ID because I wasn't originally a TD customer. I then asked him to confirm if I was still getting the promotional aeroplan points that I qualified for and he said yes and confirmed the amount. My card arrived a week later and all seemed well - until it came to activating the card. I asked him about a secondary cardholder and was told I need to call and request one. When I called, they told me I needed to do it in branch (which I was JUST there) and also needed a phone code that needed to be done in branch. I asked the kind lady on the phone about my aeroplan bonus points, they were the current promotion ( not the one I initially inquired about ). The promo was supposed to be 100,000 pts which then dropped to 75,000pts because of the cut off date (after jan 4). The whole reason I even applied for the specific card was due to the promotion. Had I known I wasn't going to get it, I would've went with a different bank. Kenneth also was pressuring me to switch all of my accounts to TD, I am so glad I didn't. They are not doing anything to rectify their mistakes. I would not recommend this branch to anyone as they lack in customer service and don't care.UPDATE: He also entered my name for my aeroplan rewards program so I can't book flights or anything until they update it with proof of identification which takes 2 weeks to process. Just when I thought this experience couldn't get any worse. AVOID THIS BRANCH AT ALL COSTS

As you can see from previous reviews about this bank. Turn around and go to the one at River Landing. My partner and I have just experience the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with, with a bank. Lots of miscommunication, misinformation, that causes lots of inconvenience. Take your business somewhere else. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER

Lower than average bank… will try to keep you indebted to them for as long as possible. First mortgage specialist I got was awful but I asked to switch and now I can actually understand them speak to me.

Worst experience at a bank yet. I was excited to see the new location so went out of my way to check it out. I can confidently say if I hadn't been a TD customer for the last 30+ years I would have emptied my accounts and switched banks all together. Staff was intrusive, nosey and loud about personal information. I do not need to broadcast my finances to everyone in line, and you absolutely do not need to stop me in line and ask how much I am depositing. I am amazed at how rude and offside some of the comments were that the staff and manager made today. I have mentioned how terrible my experience was with 3 people so far and 2 of them said they have had similar experiences and will also not be returning to this location. I also never leave reviews but I was so uncomfortable that I felt I needed to. NOT IMPRESSED.

Very lousy service from td 8th street branch, looks like people are untrained n unprofessional. If ask a question they staff are so clueless, simple job they they take so long n waste your time ⏲️

Terrible customer service. I had a question for the branch manager on eighth Street and he didn’t even come out. He had to text the teller to answer my question.It if it wasn’t a lot of work to move, business accounts, and personal account, I would do it.

The customer service here is really poor, the way they deal with the customer is so rude, my own money I can’t get, they said 3 to 5 business days then I will get the check, then I follow up on the fifth day ‘coz I didn’t receive it , they said they will not say that 3 to 5, what their trying to say I’m lying , that 3 to 5 comes their employee and they can’t stand for it, I need my money ‘coz I need to pay my bills as well, why you keep holding it?

Absolutely horrible customer service. I’ve been dealing with TD Canada Trust since I was able to officially open a bank account. This branch is close to my house, so I typically have dealt here over the past 15 years or so. The customer service in the last few years has taken a drastic turn for the worse. The problem isn’t that the people working at the front offer bad customer service, it is the management. I have had a few issues involving management over the last few years where I left wondering why I continue banking here. I have found them to be rude, unfriendly, and have not been accommodating to my concerns. I’ve gone to different branches and have found the managers and staff to be a lot more customer service oriented and much friendlier. Unfortunately, that seems to have been lost on this team. TD Bank, please do better at picking leaders for this branch who understand that customer service involves listening to customers concerns, responding in a friendly tone, and trying to come up with a solution that will keep your patrons with your bank. I will not be returning to this branch and will be moving my savings to RBC.

Worst branch ever to deal with . I can understand when it’s busy and your are short staff . But warm welcome and greeting can make it better for customer who is waiting in line from last 20 minutes. Worst teller that i have dealt with . She even shouted on me for no reason when i asked for envelopes for my cash and draft . Not acceptable at all . If you are overwhelmed it’s not customer’s fault.

I visited this location to open a chequing account yesterday. Although I didn’t book an appointment, I tried to still see if there might be some cancelled bookings or they could squeeze me in. I was so happy that the lady said they could once the line up was cleared up. It was just so unfortunate that they had me waiting for almost an hour or more than that without giving me a certain time. They should not accommodate and make people wait if they are not sure.

Customer service is pathetic at best in this location!!! If you reach this location by 4:15ish onwards, best of luck. I believe you can go all the way to any other nearby branch, get your things done and still have time to spare than here. Today I saw 3 reps servicing one customer, all the while there is a long queue of customers waiting. I am not against proper support, why not one rep who knows well the process help the customer while others help other customers waiting in long queue. On top of it, reps are quite happy to log off 5 minutes early despite a long queue rather than helping atleast one customer in that 5 minutes. They are quite happy to log off even before the rotating FA have not taken the place of the folks logging off!!! I just wish the old staff before the relocation is still here. They are more efficient than the current ones.

She's very welcoming and goes that extra mile in helping customers. she has extremely knowledgeable and helpful. An absolute pleasure and highly appreciated for making my day, please keep the remarkable level of customer service you offered today, well done and a rarity to see someone go to such lengths. 10/10
