We moved from Vancouver Island a couple of years ago, to a rural community south of Swift Current. We have to travel to Saskatoon often and have become very thankful for this Value Village. The huge selection of quality used clothing and footwear has made a big difference when it comes to shopping for the children. The prices here are far better than they were at our Value Villages on Vancouver Island and I can always find brand name clothing for the whole family.

Good inventory. I go for kitchen and household goods. Great place to find Tuperware actual.

I liked shopping at value village not so long ago. Donated also a lot of stuff. But I noticed a while ago prices going up quite a bit. Even for damaged or incomplete stuff. I don't like that.

Donated clothes are too expensive! Can even buy new for same money at other stores like Giant Tiger.

No Change Rooms to try on any clothes. If you buy clothes and they don’t fit you can return them within 14 days for a credit… you don’t even get your money back. I think for anyone living out of town this is likely an inconvenience. It’s a huge factor for me personally, because buying jeans without trying them on is not something I’ve ever been able to do, true to size varies so much between brands and styles, not to mention that these are used clothes, so they may have been altered by the previous owner.
The shopping experience at this particular location was horrible, the employees were so fixated on profiling customers it was hard to feel comfortable hearing employees gossiping about customers and who they think might be stealing or who might look like someone that has been banned seemed inappropriate. The use of the store intercom during my shopping experience was also odd and at some points inappropriate.
Terrible customer service. Very disappointed in the direction this company has taken, it used to be a great store and I enjoyed shopping there. But now it’s simply not worth it.
