The Southey Hotel & Steak Pit is a centrally based, old hotel establishment. The interior is dark and obscure. It serves pub style food, including homemade hamburgers and steak that are delicious, piping hot, tasty, and of good proportion with huge servings. Prices are economical, reasonable, and great. Service is good, though waits can be a little long with only one staff handling multiple duties. The bar has alcoholic beverages, a pool table, VLTS, a jukebox, and karaoke.

Holy smokes.. first steak I've had in 2 years and it was the best !!!

Dark and obscure describe the interior of this old hotel, but surprisingly the food was pretty good! Service was good, food took some time to arrive but it was hot and tasty. Home-made hamburger patties were of a good proportion on the hamburger steak as well as a reasonable price. Thanks!
