Wawota and Community Early Learning Centre

Hours: We are a 30-space licensed learning centre serving ages 18 months to 12 years. Our staff creates programming for each group that is developmentally appropriate for their age. We spend part of the day with the groups separated in different rooms, focusing on activities that are suitable for each age group. We spend the other part of the day as a mixed-age group where the children play together and learn how to interact with each other. The Centre follows a daily schedule, which allows the children to get accustomed to how the Center runs, and so that they have a good idea of what comes next each day. This aids with the transition from home to daycare and helps the children feel more comfortable at the Centre.
