“We went to the Aiken festival for the first time ever and it was great! My grandson had the best time. It was the perfect size for us, and all the vendors as well as the ride operators were great. We felt very welcomed.”
“Acts of Aiken is an incredible resource for this community. After the unexpected death of my dad, my family and I were going through one of the hardest times in our lives. We were struggling with basic things like food and bills, and Acts of Aiken stepped in and helped when we truly needed it most.
They helped us with food and even helped me get a new pair of glasses when I couldn’t afford them. But more than the practical help, they gave us something just as important — hope during a really dark time.
I especially want to recognize a young woman there named Anni’Jah. She went above and beyond for me and my mother. She treated us with kindness, compassion, and genuine care, and it never felt like we were just another case or number. She truly cared about our situation and made a difficult time a little easier to get through.
Acts of Aiken is doing important work in this community, and people like Anni’Jah are the reason it makes such a real difference in people’s lives. I’m incredibly grateful for the help and the compassion we received.”
“My first time visiting Mr. Span lives there he is 90yrs old he's my church member of Bethany # 2 in New Ellenton SC. We went there to serve Thanksgiving dinner there & fellowship. Hallelujah I had a PHENOMENAL time with them all will be back soon.”

“This service has helped me at least three times. They are professional, kind and dependable! I am in need of medical transport to and from hospitals and my doctors' office for appointments. They have wonderful and caring personalities. I would be lost without their assistance.”
“Beautiful, pastoral setting for the incredible service provided for neglected or abused horses. With only 2 paid staff, Equine Rescue relies on a cadre of volunteers for all the care and feeding of their animals, as well as the placement of those horse considered adoptable. Truly a treasure in Aiken.”
