“Our pets have been provided care at Hollow Creek for a number of years. They have always received excellent professional care in a friendly and efficient environment.”
“I started taking my dog here after a soft tissue injury that is normally treated with surgery. Because of my dog's age and size I didn't want to put her through her doggie ACL (cruciate) repair so my regular vet suggested Dr Eva. She is compassionate, highly skilled and educated, and very good with my dog. The injury has healed but we still go back on a regular basis for therapeutic massage so that my dog feels comfortable and can continue to go with me and do the things we both love. This is one of those places I recommend without reservation.”
“I was pleased with Dr Byrd. He was kind and gentle with our two senior horses. He was straight forward with his advice and recommendations as to what was best for both.”
“I moved to Aiken in October, and have tried 4 other veterinary office for my 6 dogs. I stopped looking once I was referred to and met Dr. Groover and saw the care he provides for my dogs. His expertise and how he sees and approaches every situation uniquely, learns about your pet, asks questions and gets to the root of the cause. No band aids. He truly cares and wants to get to the bottom of any health issues.”
“Dr. Carter is the only vet I’ll take my horses too even though he’s two hours away. Reasonably priced and figured out my horses issue quickly.”
“This clinic is very helpful. My usual doctor is Dr. Groover. Is is very through and spends time trying to answer and concerns. The assistants are so nice, and they make my doggo feel comfortable. The only thing negative is have to say is they are always booked out. Overall, fantastic!”
“We are so fortunate to have Performance Equine Vets in Aiken. Yesterday one of our mares went into labor with her foal in the wrong position, and it quickly became an emergency. They quickly assessed the situation and performed an emergency c-section, ultimately saving both mare and foal. We are profoundly grateful for their expertise and dedication!”
“My pitbull Snoopy loved his vet Shannon Wilson. She has a great way with nervous pets and made my dog feel much better when being at the Vet. I highly recommend this animal hospital and ask for Shannon.”
“Michael (owner of Chloe)-Today, Aiken veterinary services saw my girl Chloe for an eye infection on short notice. They were able to fit her in. God Bless you Lisa and Dr. Lisa. Thank you Ashton and Vickie! They were amazing!”
“My dog had a wonderful visit today at The Ark! The Ark has been renovated and updated and looks amazing. Staff was wonderful and the Vet was spot on diagnosing my dogs issue, and I would highly recommend The Ark to anyone!”
“update feb 2025
When I arrived for my appt today, a momma goat was having issues delivering 2 large babies. My appt for my cat Harold was delayed an hour. TY for putting your patients first (the four legged). Momma and 2 precious babies are fine.
----Just moved to town and I was looking for a local vet for my senior pets, Sydney - a 14yr old lab and Harold a 15yr old Tuxedo cat. Got an appointment to check on my dog this week and Dr McKinnon was great. Highly recommend.”
“Very pleasant experience with Dr. Wofford. He fit us into his schedule quickly, took time with each of my animals and answered all the questions I had. My nervous and growling pup came out of his check up with his head up and his tail wagging...just like the goofy guy he is with us. We've definitely found our new Vet.”
“The kindest staff. The BEST kept almost state of the art center. The animals are so happy. It doesn’t make me sad leaving or going because I know they’re taken care of.”

“I want to give 10 stars vs. 5. Dr. Brown, Dr. Howeth, and their technician Tracie who gave my dog outstanding attention for dental surgery and recovery. Front reception personnel also gave excellent communication. Thank you so much!”
