My husbands truck needed bodywork and repair. We took it to the service department and they said they would call when all parts had arrived, and the repair should take less than a month. His truck was in their shop for 7 MONTHS. Not only that.. part of the reason it took so long is because they parted out his truck for their other repairs. We then waited longer to receive the parts they had given away. After all that they didn't even align the tires and at only 4k miles, my husband now needs new tires. Again. DO NOT. I repeat- DO NOT GO TO ABRA OR ANDERSON FORD SERVICE. No discounts were given and customer service was HORRIBLE.

I have had two encounters with Anderson Ford. The first time was a number of years ago before the pandemic. I was trying to buy a Ford Ecosport from them and they appeared to have a great price. After going there it turned out that the price they were advertising was the price minus all the ford incentives which not one person can get them all. Left very deflated. Second encounter which was today was they were advertising a Ford Maverick that they display they have on their lot but after enquiring they don't they are just re-advertising an advert of another dealer that has it. They even gave me that dealers number in the end !! 1 star from me.

I will just explain. You decide. I dropped my vehicle off on Wednesday. Varying issues, older car. Most of the repairs and problems were covered by warranty issues. It was suppose to be ready the following Monday. Tuesday, no later for a total price of @2050. I called and checked Tuesday morning. I was told the car was going to be ready for pick up by 5pm. I didn't get a phone call. I had to call Wednesday morning, several times about the status of the car. Sad to say, I got the run around. Seems no one could come to to grips with the status of the car after repeated phone calls. I decided to go in and speak with someone face to face. Big surprises. I was quoted a bill three hundred dollars more than the original quote, with a warning there was a check engine light for the VTC solenoid. An additional 500.00 more. I drove the car home. There is no check engine light. The car runs fine. After waiting three weeks for an appointment, you'd think you don't have to double check maintenance and follow up. Think again. It can cost you upwards of $800 if you aren't paying attention. This is a lame excuse for a service station. Case in point. $130.00 for a battery replacement. Just to put it in mind you. Not to figure out what's wrong, just slap a new one in. Not even the purchase of a battery. Labor costs are @130.00 just to loosen four bolts. Carter in service verified it takes 45 minutes for a mechanic who earns 170.00 in labor takes 45 minutes to replace a top mounted battery in a 2012 Ford Focus. They refunded $80.00 of the labor. Thank heavens. Only after all day on the phone. Say no to dealing with service folks that have no concept about service. Just the highlights. There's much more to the episode. Just go over your bill with a fine tooth comb. Object to egregious pricing. Save yourself and your family. No one else will care, especially the Ford dealership in Anderson. Thanks. Not just a vent, but a real deal. I'm still stunned by the level service but satisfied only after some badgering. I will never go back there again. I think that will suit us all. I'm still stunned, if I didn't know anything about cars, I would have paid $800 or more. Ridiculous. V/R Pat Bealin

I was very disappointed with the service department. This is the third time I have been disappointed. My expectations are greater that what was provided. The truck has 63000 miles. My premise is: "Do what it takes to get complete the job." However, in this case, barriers have been put in place to keep the technicians from completing the job. 1. I made an appointment a week and a half to two weeks out. 2. Arrived at the day and time. 3. Truck in on March 8. I called a week later. Not ready. Parts have been ordered. I waited another week. Called, service advisor " I'll check and call you back." Nothing. I went in several days later. Service advisor, "It will be ready Tuesday" March 28. Tuesday. No call from advisor. Wednesday March 29. I went to the service department and asked for my truck back. Front end work was allegedly completed. I paid $ 2327.97 Wheel sensor not in or installed. Sense the wheel sensor was the hold up, could it have been ordered from another source? Maybe NAPA? This is the second time I have had this issue with Ford. Previously it was a fuel filter for a 1988 diesel. They were in stock next door at NAPA. The third issue was at the Ford quick change. My Ford Ranger fell off the lift. My sons both had Ford trucks. One had computer issues that kept it in the shop for several months. Since it was coming out of warranty and there was no assurance that the new computer would be warranted. He immediately traded for another brand of truck. The other was appalled at the cost to repair his sun roof. He in like manner traded for another brand. The conclusion I have come to: the Ford Motor Company does not want or need our business.

So... I see why this dealership is rated so low now. Wish I had seen this first. let's start this with I live about 35 miles from this dealership. I never get to anderson. I talked to a lady and she told me the car I wanted was available and that was about 1 1/2 hour I got there. So upon my arrival, I was greeted by a salesman that spoke to me. Surprisedly. But the car was no where in sight. So I asked where it was. Reply was they didn't know. So he went and looked. He said it was in service and not drivable. So why would it be on the lot for sale if it wasn't drivable? I'm assuming that was a lie. I really don't know. And I said something about wasting my gas coming all this far And he said he would refill it, and then just walked away. I was soooo mad. I will never look at this dealership nor will I EVER recommend this to dealership to any of my friends. You guys really suck. Michelle Bostick Michelle mich

These scumbags are the worst possible option to take care of your vehicle. They charged me $400 and did absolutely nothing. For your own peace of mind avoid these scam artist at all cost. They will rip you off in a heart beat. Just the worst human beings that you could ever have work on your vehicle. They should really be ashamed.

I bought my first Ford here about a year ago. The service has been awesome and everything from the greetings to the follow up have been better than I would have expected. I've enjoyed the service department so much I asked them to work on one of my trucks that is t even a Ford. Great place to buy and service.

Dishonest car sales! Advertise a "good deal" but then when you inquire about said vehicle, price is not what was advertised. Bad business practices!

The service department at Anderson Ford is an absolute joke! The new service manager David Reed is a definite let down from the last one. I took my 2016 f150 in a month ago for squeling noise and check engine light. Was told immediately the squealing noise from the turbos was normal (not true because it hadn't been doing it the first 90,000 miles i put on the truck) but said the fault code was p0420 which they said was catalytic converter bank 1 bad. The service manager at the time said they would replace both for $2900.00 but suggested i take it to Stoney's muffler shop for a much better deal and told me that the Ford service department sends alot of their own exhaust work to Stoneys to be completed. So i went to Stoneys and had both catalytic converters replaced for $1000.00. Stoney said the catalytic converter was destroyed by pieces of metal from the turbo flanges coming apart and took pictures for me to show Ford. So, I called the ford service department back, told them what was found and took my truck back in. I gave them the pic of the flange where the exhaust mounts to the turbo and left my truck. About three days later they called and wanted me to come look at my truck and said nothing was wrong with the flanges. I got there to take a look and they had everything removed from the top side of the turbos and had not removed the flange in question on the exhaust side ( which is the flange pictured). I had to show the mechanic where to remove the exhaust from the turbos and then they saw the issue. They said I needed 2 new turbos and would have to order parts. My truck was there for 24 days and never once did i receive an update phone call, i called about once a week to check on it. Finally they called and said it was ready and I paid $5408.00 for repairs. I got in truck to head home and cranked it up and it sounded like a big rig! I started down the road and it had absolutely no power and sounded terrible. I immediately turned around and took it back. On the way back (2 miles in) the check engine light came on. They told me to leave it and they would figure out what was wrong. So once again I was without a vehicle. They called the next day and said they had left a c- clamp off during the repair and an intake hose had came off. I took the truck home and it felt fine, but on my second drive in the truck my check engine light came on so I called and they said bring it back, they read codes p0420 and p0430 and said both catalytic converters are bad!!! Both brand new catalytic converters with less than 50 miles on them! I said no way, they are brand new and the NEW service manager (who took over sometime during this month David Reed) said well Stoneys put on cheap converters. I said, the last service manager told me to take it there and that y'all send alot of your exhaust work to them, to this he said no we dont! So I went back to Stoney's, who by the way has been doing exhaust work in anderson for fifty years, and told him what they said and he said he does a ton of their work for them. He also said there is nothing wrong with the catalytic converters. These two codes will throw for exhaust leaks, bad o2 sensors or bad catalytic converters. However, for both to come up you would have to have two bad 02 sensors(which Ford changed all 4 of while they were doing the turbo work) or two bad catalytic converters ( which are both brand new) or one exhaust leak ( from possibly any one of the many seals and gaskets that were changed during the process). Which of those sound more likely? So now im $6408.00 into this repair and I have the same fault code plus one ( i had just p0430 when i came in originally, now i have p0420 and p0430) as when I started. This is a joke and I would never recommend taking anything to this disastrous service department, you would think they would be embarrassed themselves!
