Very clean facility. The people there are very nice, very helpful. The Dr. I was given was very upfront and didn't beat around the bush. Which I greatly appreciate and thankful for Dr. K is awesome. I'm truly impressed with this clinic. It's a difference between day and night compared to the other clinic I have been to.

From the lab to my primary care doctor everyone has always been professional and met my needs. Calling any of the VA clinics is a pain but my private messages have always been answered promptly.

I’ve never had an issue with this clinic. It’s clean and nice. Competent staff. Good quality care. Very caring nursing staff. Wait times are a bit long, but if I secure message my team with my issues, they can generally help me over that platform without any issues. Glad my husband and I transferred to this clinic.

It's the VA. Good luck getting taken seriously, having referrals put in on time, or getting care without jumping through hoops. There are really great people that work here that help as best as they can, but they're just as frustrated as you'll be.

I sat for an hour for a blood draw after signing in at the front kiosk. Well, shucks, the blood draw is not connected to the automated system. Ya gotta sign in at the window. How about a sign at the kiosk???

I cannot stress enough how awful the SC VA system is. I have been dealing with medical issues for TWO YEARS and still no resolution because the VA is slow, or completely unresponsive and I have to keep calling to get referrals which never get done and then I have to get a new referral and start all over. I have never been treated so poorly and I was seen at the VA in Omaha, San Diego, Biloxi and Buffalo and those facilities I never had this many issues with. SC VA is worse than a joke. Needs reform from the top all the way to the bottom. Especially the Anderson SC clinic and the Columbia VA Hospital.

If you're a vet in the upstate of SC, do not go here. I was not satisfied with my care and I'm now driving 4 hours round trip to receive proper care.

Had appointment with audiologist to have hearing aid adjusted. At first I thought there was no difference. When I got home with other noises going on I realized he done an outstanding job. I started hearing things I've not heard in awhile. He's put me on tract to get new hearing aids. I always have good service at Anderson VA Clinics.

I was Camping near Salem, SC and pulled my back really bad (could barely walk with assistance) and needed help. I looked for nearest VA and Anderson was the closest about 1 hr away. I called first to make sure they could treat me and the lady said yes, they serve Triage cases. I made the 1 hour trip with my 14 yr old son who helped me walk and get a wheelchair once we arrived. David (volunteer) came out with a wheelchair and was VERY NICE. Unfortunately once I checked in and he left (his volunteer shift was over) and that was the last I would hear from anyone for over an hour.My son was not allowed to come in because he was not 18, which is OK but after an hour+ of sitting in the car in 90 degree heat, I asked if they could bend their policy because it was so hot out - they could not which again I understood... Policy is policynamdnthe guards need to follow policy. One of the Dr's at the VA overheard me talking to Security about my son being in the parking lot and asked me why I was here. Sitting in the wheelchair, I told him about my back. He asked me to come into one of the offices by the waiting room so I wheels myself over and the wheelchair did not fit thru the door. He asked me to get up and sit in the seat in the office but as I tried to stand I could not without any assistance so he said just stay there. He went onto say that everyone just went on lunch and it will be another 45 mins before anyone returns and may be a few hours after that until I am seen. He suggested I instead go to Doctors Care down the road, so I did. I awas not happy and explained how I called first, no one gave me any expectations, came to check or update me, and just left me sitting watching TV.... And now everyone is on lunch???????I live in Charleston and the VA there is AWESOME (see my prior 5 star ratings).... This VA is not somewhere to go if you are in urgent need of care - you'll just sit in the waiting room for hours with no one acknowledging you other than the Vets that are there for appointments. Rely on other reviews if you have an appointment, which honestly as I read don't seem much better.
