The staff is always so friendly and kind. Everyone greets us by name and asks about my other cats at each visit. Will always continue to trust them with my cats!

They have always been kind friendly and caring as far as where I take my puppies it's it's been here for the last 5 I've never felt like I was overcharged or unnecessarily charged I imagine that could all change once I get into the new building because of the expense of the building but I sure hope it doesn't change before that I had a 15-year-old Pomeranian and because she got injured and I couldn't afford treatment I took her over to pause and they were also amazing

Doctors and techs treat my dog like she is their own. Great communication while she was in their care.

I have been with Banfield for almost 7 years. 3 years at a Kennesaw location in GA and 4 years at the Anderson location. During my cats younger years id say Banfield did a decent job of taking care of my pets. I did have issues with how often they wanted to run expensive tests on my cats for absolutely no reason. For example my cat Ramsey in his 16 year old age would spit up 1-2 times a week so I took him to banfield. They did blood work, x-ray, and stool test. Everything came back clear but the doctor working at the time tried to get me to pay to have him have more elaborate expensive tests on at the animal hospital even though there was nothing wrong with him (turns out it was just hairballs and i was overly worried). Instances like this would happen everytime I took any of my 4 cats to banfield for something minor. I'd pay for a series of tests, they'd come back clear with no indications of anything being wrong, the vet would push me to pay for much much more expensive tests. My biggest issue with banfield happened last October. I came back from a week long vacation and my house sitter said they had caught my cat chewing on plastic bags while I was away. That night I saw him throw up pieces of plastic that I can only imagine he was stress eating becuase I was away. So I made an appointment with Banfield asap. I got him in the next day and they ran a couple of tests. The vet informed me that he had a blockage in his lower intestine and that he needed emergency surgery. They told me they wanted to send him to the animal hospital they partner with and that the surgery would be $2000. Keep in mind the cat in question is 14 years old at the time. I ask the vet if there's alternative solutions because the surgery sounds risky and I don't have $2000 for this surgery. She told me I was either gonna have to pay the 2k or put my cat down. I was very devastated and was about to look for ways to come up with the money to make the surgery happen. My friend told me I needed a second opinion so I went to another local vet. I was told there that surgery on cats this old is a last last last last resort because they're much higher risk of something going wrong or them not recovering fully due to age. They decided they would try a laxative and kept him overnight. He passed the blockage over night and was completly fine next day. That whole ordeal cost me $100 and my cat was healthy and happy.Let's fast forward 1 year. My now 15 year old cats back legs have stopped working due to joint issues. Hes having liver failure and caught jaundice. It's time to start thinking about quality of life. I realized it was time and my boy was suffering so I called banfield to make an appointment. I've gone through Banfield with this before with my cat that had cancer many years ago. Many years ago the process cost $170 to cremate and get the ashes with a memorial card contained trimmed prieces of their fur. The set up was very a nice, affordable memorial that I appreciated very much. When I called them to make a similar appointment for my boy I was told that the euthinization would be $202 and to cremate the body would be an additional $157 for public cremation and $257 for private cremation. I asked what the difference between public and private cremation was and they said public cremation you don't get the ashes but private cremation you do. I asked "so it's gonna cost me $459 to put my cat down, creamate and have his ashes returned to me?" The lady on the phone said "oh yeah but you know how the economy's been". I immediately canceled my appointment and called the animal hospital who had a $170 package that included: a wellness checkup to see if there were other options outside euthanasia, the euthanasia itself if that was what the best option was, the cremation itself, the ashes returned in a beautfly carved wooden box with my boys name engraved and a clay disk with my boys pawprint. I will never go to another banfield again. All they care about is milking you for as much money

I'm on the fence, service is good. But not very willing to help you save money. Still thinking it over.

I have had to have THREE of my fur babies put down since March and they have been so sweet and accommodating when we had to bring our larger dogs thru the back door since one had been poisoned (and we didn’t want to scare/alarm any children that may have been in the store) and the other one couldn’t walk. They are the best Vet around!!

Very attentive to our 10 wk old kitten we rescued as a feral. She was wild and hard to handle but they were able to calm her without sedation to exam her. Very happy with the end result.
