5 stars to 1. I dread walking/running on the treadmills not because I hate it, but because you are playing Russian roulette on which one has buttons that work. I think they have 2 of 12 perfectly working treadmills so yea bad odds. The GYM needs upkeep/new equipment and i think everyone agrees with that. Would avoid till they are bought out or new management comes in.

This gym is AMAZING! I’m visiting Anderson for a month (coming from an Asheville Golds) and the vibe at this location is so upbeat, exciting, friendly. I love the Himalayan salt sauna, the outdoor tire flip area, the unique areas (like a women’s lifting area) & spaciousness. Everyone is kind and welcoming. Highly recommend!

It’s sad to see what was once a great gym go downhill so fast. Ever since their manager Caitlin is no longer there there’s no upkeep, a number of the machines are out of order. They don’t attempt to fix it. Then they make it difficult to get out of the contract so you have to pay for non working machines and terrible management. I would suggest to look into other gyms in the area.

Currently 50% of there stuff says out of order on it. No upkeep to equipment. As if the doors stays open but no one owns the gym

Have been trying to cancel my membership for the past 3 months even though I don't even live in my current address and travel around. My fault for not reading their agreement.

I’d be careful about joining the gym they lock you into a long 2 year contract that is very difficult to get out of. I hated going to this gym because of the culture and blaring music, you can’t hear the music through your headphones over the top 40 playing, the fact I was locked into the contract derailed my fitness journey for a long time. Luckily I am back on track at a much better gym in town just be careful and be certain you want to sign the contract

My parter and I are very dissatisfied with this locations customer service. My partner signed up for a gym membership fall of 2021. In the beginning, he was offered 1 personal training session. After this initial free session, he agreed to do a few more and paid for each personal training session individually. After seeing this was not something that he would like to continue, he got in contact with a Gold's employee and told her he did not want to continue with the sessions and he got a confirmation email from Caitlyn that this was fine and he would not be charged for any more sessions. Fast forward to now (just started within last couple of months), and he discovers that $130 is being auto-drafted from his bank account each month. At this point, he has lost $260. He was told this was for his personal training sessions that HE AGREED TO AND SIGNED A SPECIFIC CONTRACT FOR. He signed an initial contract for his gym membership, but there was nothing in this contract regarding auto charging for pt sessions. Since then, he has tried to reach out to Gold's Gym in Anderson numerous times. Most of these times, no one has been willing to speak with him. When they finally did speak with him over the phone, he was told that there was nothing they could do at the gym, and he would have to contact Peak Payment Solutions (which are horribly reviewed on BBB). He did this, and was told by an employee at Peak, that a contract was signed by my partner agreeing to a $130 charge monthly for sessions and that they would stop charging him if he would pay $500 to buy out the contract. When my partner asked if they could send him the contract he supposably signed, Peak never emailed him back. He has not been able to reach them since then. Recently, my partner tried to reach out to a manager Gold's again and after many attempts, he was finally able to speak with a manager in person. The manager told him that he would not be refunding any money... he mentioned this signed contract again. When my partner asked if he could please take a look at this imaginary contract, the manager told him that his printed died, so he was unable to print out a copy to show him.Just wanted to get this info out here to all members at this location so you could check your bank accounts and make sure that payments that you haven't agreed to aren't being drafted from your bank accounts.Needless to say, when his membership comes to an end, he will not be renewing. Hoping to find a gym that does not take advantage of their patrons (especially in these hard times).

Great, new facility with a friendly staff! Worked out here while visiting from out of state and had no issues (well, besides the rude janitor who lacks people skills, who may or may not be special needs). The highlight is easily the beefy, country bro at the front desk— dude is not only welcoming, but pretty frickin’ hot! If you’re reading this review, feel free to hit me up via IG: allen0brian ;)

Best Gym in all of Anderson. All the equipment I could ever need, an awesome locker room + sauna, as well as an amazing staff. Caitlin is an awesome manager and the rest of the staff is very friendly. I feel welcomed here!
