If you enjoy being belittled and dealing with a dishonest “tax expert” then I highly recommend you visit this establishment. After my husband was informed over the phone that tax assessments are free, he visited the office and spoke with a representative there who offered to refile all of our paperwork even though the end result would be the same…owing the IRS. When my husband said we’ll just go ahead and pay the IRS what they say we owe, the representative he spoke with stated that he owed $50 for the assessment. When my husband stated he was informed assessments were free, this individual dropped all of his imperceptible professionalism, and YELLED at my husband that he “just wants something for nothing” and to “get out of my (the individual’s) office.”

One year I was not offered the choice to file by taxes mail and was informed that electronic filing was MANDATORY and mailing taxes to the IRS was not an option. So I questioned the the new rule and was instructed to read about 5 small font printed articles taped to a wall. So, I actually read a few parts the document- and it came to my attention in clear printed small font- that in fact- it was my CHOICE to file on paper as long as the tax return was to submitted to the IRS by the taxpayer (myself). All it required was a Form 8948 to be attached. After I exercised my right to mail the documents, saved a few dollars for that too; I still returned to have assistance for the next few years.I was never really displeased with the service- just weary of any new filing options or regulations that may to cost me any extra money.. It is unusual for me to create a review based off of any experience regarding a business, or any animosity for that matter, but today I feel like it is necessary. The Main Reason Being: I telephoned to follow up about a previous request to amend a tax return. After I notified a particular representative via telephone that free services were being offered to me, based off of the mistake made by an institution for that particular year, the telephone conversation turned awkward. After feeling chastised for my decision to use the free tax service and being made strongly aware that I wasted an hour of an individual's time and so on and so on.... I finally got the opportunity to speak. So I apologized for any inconvenience and explained that "I should have followed up sooner". The conversation basically ended with an invitation to seek a new tax service. I wish I had done that a few years ago but I was a loyal customer along with my family. I am a huge advocate over customer service, standards of professionalism, telephone etiquette, and honesty. These are all subjective to everyone- so I hope my review helps in anyone's tax preparation seeking!
