Terrible produce went to but some tomatoes and had mold all over them the cashiers are rude and no help if you go through self checkout your pretty much on you own because the one running it is on there phone instead of helping you and the meats if you ask to get something cut like a roast like I did for beef jerky they act like it's the biggest problem that's if you can get them to help you if this place wasn't convenient from were I live I would never shop here

Went to Ingles cause my wife is out of town - first time ever they wanted to charge me more because my wife has the "card" not me. Always before someone swiped for me. So I left, went to Publix. I'm disabled so it made for a hard trip. It's the new America.

Wow......around 18th of December I was at this Ingles (off of 81) and spent $350.00 in groceries. I proceeded to the check out and unloaded my cart which was overly full.....The cashier (wonderful young woman) was doing the ringing up and the bagging all at the same time. The bags were stocking up at the end and she honestly had no place else to put them...my cart was still being emptied BY ME. I had to stop and run and get another empty cart....I had to put all my groceries that she bagged into the cart and then return to empty my other cart onto belt.....The two of us worked our butts off! I seriously looked around to see if their was a bagger around and saw a few....one was "bagging a bag of apples" at one register...the other one was doing NOTHING but was waiting for people to magically appear at the register he was hanging out on. To say the least I was exhausted and surely frustrated! I was not even getting PAID to do all that work....I then had to go out and put all these bags in my car and get them all home and in the house and I was running out of energy! WORST experience EVER! Several managers hanging around, lots of baggers and NOTHING was being done......I got louder and one boy came over AFTER we had all but the last bag done....I told him to GO AWAY! I was so mad! That gal at the register totally got me and says it happens all the time.....the baggers ALWAYS go to the SLOW stations! Came back two weeks later and they had a bagger/the cashier remembered me and told me I should of called. I truly HATE going back their and only do so on Tuesdays for the triple gas points. Slowly talking my husband into going to Publix or Food Lion and the trip to Ingles is NOT worth it. Nobody helps you with anything.....money will be spent elsewhere! :(

Worst Ingles in Anderson while they say they take precautions on Covid the new hires are not required to give a drug test. Hiring has gone downhill fast! Not only that a DEPT. manager has felony charges and is still employed there. Do not recommend shopping there. Very unprofessional! Shop there if you like but these are facts!

I just left Ingles with a 458.83 grocery purchase. As I was leaving my Wife and decided to purchase a lottery ticket, one mega millions and a 10.00 dollar scratch off....the person who waited on us stated our purchase was 13.00 dollars...I had three five dollar Bills in my right hand I instinctively reached for the tickets and she very rudely pulled the tickets out of my reach before she had the money in her hand. Now I live right behind the store and iam in the store no less than twice a Day....I asked her " so you're going to hold my tickets hostage until you have the money firmly in your hand ? " As we left my wife said you she have called a Manager to report her rudeness.....I told the her rude woman was a Manager (Blonde woman..I dont recall her name) needless to say I've purchased my last lottery ticket there and may not even return to this store.

Came here to pick up things , half the employees and half the customers didn't wear masks, even though there is a sign, hello there's a pandemic and people here don't care. I'm taking my business to Costco. #covidpetridish

DId somebody say chicken? I have been shopping at this Ingles for years now and I have watched as they have evolved into a grocery powerhouse. They have better produce than ever before and they now carry more organic items than just about anybody in the area. And, to top it all off, they have just completed a massive upgrade to bring in Starbucks, a pharmacy and an Oriental fast food counter next to the regular deli. I have to mention the original deli, though, because it is so good and so affordable. For around $5 you can get a meat and 3 sides and the food is good. I recommend the fried chicken...I love fried chicken. Go early for lunch, though, because after that the food sits up and gets old and crusty under the heat lamps. I wouldn't try to make a supper out of it. The store is always clean and bright and it has been my experience that I can find some things at Ingles that I cannot find at other stores...like Earth Balance spread, for example. There are others, but none come to mind at the moment. Another benefit to shopping here is the meat market. When you get a whole chicken at most stores, no one is there to cut it up for you. But Ingles has a meat department and they will cut up a chicken (for example) into individual pieces for you at no charge. This is much cheaper than buying a chicken already cut up into pieces. (bet you didn't know that...haha) Ingles is competitive in terms of pricing. They are not as cheap as Walmart's neighborhood market, but they do compete with Publix and Bi-Lo and Food Lion. I continue to be a fan of this Ingles and will continue to support it, as long as they continue to cut up my chicken for free. : ) (I really don't eat that much chicken)

People do not usually think of going to a grocery store as a lunch option, but construction workers, nurses, and any other worker in the Anderson area will attest to Ingles Cafe being a good choice. The fried chicken and cobbler are personal favorites. The hot sauce is a must with the fried chicken, but be aware that the location of the packets changes frequently.

another great location with friendly service. The layout of their store is similar so it's easy to get around. Prices are good and they serve hot food all day in the deli area.

This Ingles location is great AND they have a killer deli serving up delicious roasted pork, fried chicken, Mac n cheese, and so much more for only $5! On the grocery side of things, this place is also awesome! It's never packed (that's a major +++), their staff is always incredibly helpful, and their groceries are competitively priced. It's simple, but it matters, and it's that you can tell this Ingles location takes pride in keeping its store clean and presentable. They definitely pay attention to detail and they work hard to make sure that you, as a customer, have a great shopping experience. You should also sign up for an Ingles Advantage card to receive deeper discounts on groceries and discounted gas.
