A bible centered church

The people and staff are A+. Childcare is A+. Was a faithful goer to this church for a couple of years and all and all had a great experience. However the concerns I personally had that may not be a problem for others, but important to know for seekers. I left after the Sr. Pastor played the intro to Guns N’ Roses and Metallica in the sanctuary at the start of his message, personally I cannot attend a church that would expose a whole congestion to that music. Many of the teachings from various pastors include references to secular movies and music that personally I wouldn’t sit down and ask Jesus to watch with me let alone encourage a congregation to watch. These may not be your convictions and if not you’ll love this church and congregation!

I absolutely have a great, well-rounded and enthusiastic post that will shed light on this church and help people make an informed decision as to if it's right for them. I went to the Haven of Rest back in 2016-2017. It is a Christian discipleship program for people of all walks of life. Some people were homeless, some had multiple felonies, some were court ordered, I went on my own intention because I needed a break and was in an abusive family dynamic. There were millionaires to former buisnesx owners there. Upon completing the Haven, I went to the YMCA to work out, and we went to basically every church in Anderson, Belton, Even Greenville, and other locations during my time at the Haven. One of my friends from the YMCA invited me to Newspring, and to be honest, it was home for me,and God used the church to love and help me through the relationships for where I was at. They have a pastoral team , yesnd it's foteighn to most as well as me, i. It ks in a lot of ways bu, it fails in many ways. Dan Lian is the leader tho he doesn't have the role or carry that as a burden. While Brad is very kind.I feel he is terrified to get to know me, lol. Clayton is a great guy. He is on staff at newspring yet he is as involved with his own ministry Crossroads ministry and Biltmore Church in Ashevellue as he is with Bewspring so it's hard to get as much of his teaching or his time. Even tho he and I would message, he took time to call Curtis Pless, who was dying of Caner. He did it because he wanted to encourage Curtis. His brother Bead was at the Haven of Rest also, and Cutis fought to help him with his struggles. Dan Lian found out my dad passed away and was the first person to call me and ask if he could help. Dan invited me and my small group a beautiful collection of young men and women to his house to watch a movie where a few Clmson football players also attended. He cooked for us, and it was a night I'll never forget. Dan came out to eat with our group, always making it so much fun. I went through a v4eakup that was extremely difficult as did several members of the group but Dan followed me out of the gym and said some incredible things that wil stay between us and offered to have me and my ex over or meet up to restore our relationship. He found out a girl named Whitney had used worldly advice to wedge the relationship me, and MJ had to a place of confusion. He offered to sit down with is also. He met with me and told me about my spiritual gifts and how God gave me the ability to not only build relationships but to have people invite me into their lives, homes, and dreams. How I could call up 100 pastors, business leaders, and volunteers, etcetera but how in Elijah's Journey comedy fled to the desert and while there was a great earthquake, a tornado, fire God spoke to Elijah in a small steel voice. He challenged me that maybe three voices, two voices, maybe any voice other than God's voice, was too many at that time and to listen for him to speak directly to me. He also got together with my friends and threw me a birthday party at Topgolf in greenville. He is a special man, and he is the glue that holds the church together. Well, I'm not a member of their addiction outreach program tho Allen cothran is. I have struggled with that in the past there is a place for people who need to focus on healing from that. My thing is to find people who Shine the Light Of God and to develop relationships with them for it's not who I was but who I am and that's a new creation in the image of Christ Jesus. I've met Trevor Lawrence at the church here he is a very humble and kind gentleman. And the friends that I was given my God he will admit the new spring were some of the most incredible beautiful, smart, giving, kind, generous images of Christ I've ever met and ever will meet. This church is not for everyone. See I have been struggling with so many other facets of life lately, and I haven't been to church in about 2 years. Well, I did have contact with Clayton and Dan.
