I have been with regions for 16 years and have never had any issues until this year....The ATM is always down and it's so inconvenient as I have "banker hours" and so they are not open to drive thru.

Was mailed an offer for $400 bonus if followed steps. Opened a new account. Waited on my debit card. Have to make 10 debit card purchases within 30 days. No card ever arrived. I called this branch. I was told it was MY responsibility to call and order a debit card?! I asked can I get one now and still get my $400 reward and she said NO?! I asked to cancel my account to and she tried to charge me $25! Bad business! Guess I’ll keep my old bank!

I previously wrote a bad review on this Bank and they helprd me fix what I had to get fixed in a matter of hours after so I would just like to say that this bank will handle anyone's needs it will take care of you very well and if you need a bank you can trust rely on this would be a good one and Robert is the man!

Everyone is always super helpful and nice when I go here! Whether it's a banking issue, question, or needing forms notarized, they are there.

Let me start by saying that I work at a Banking institution. Today was my 3rd day as a new client with Regions. The manager when I opened the account was very professional and courteous. However today I worked with a Teller a woman and she was very rude short and unprofessional. I felt disrespected and she didn't stay to complete my transaction instead she had the man on duty to do so. I requested her name so that when the manager returned I am able to speak with her on behalf of my issue. I was never told that zeroing out my accounts would have my accounts to be closed. But Terry advised it would with a stern and awful look. How does this make sense first off if you can have overdraft protection this in itself makes no sense. So Regions doesn't want to get their money back then they rather just close you out and have you owe the fee and more. Now me working in banking for going on 10 years this didn't sound right. I called in to customer service made a complaint and will be again following up with the manager on Tuesday. This has been a rough and unnecessary unpleasant start to what I thought would be a great new relationship. I was talked to about other services home programs and more with the manager however this employee had me wanting to close my account file a corporate complaint and beyond. Left a bad taste in my mouth to say the worst. I pray no one has to deal with her disrespect and unpleasantness it's truly unprofessional and I feel personally that she may be racist. To not finish my transaction and not provide the information that customer service provided which it is not completely closed but instead a soft close until around 70 days after. Unless this branch is choosing to do such things both the gentleman and lady who assisted me both should work on being more knowledgeable and do their due diligence. My current advice stay where you are in banking you will get a better experience and services. They don't even provide instant debit cards it's not convenient or up to date in 2019 from what I've had in the past.

I've been with them for almost 20 years. Never been disappointed. And the Anderson branch staff is very competent and helpful. But, I must agree with others, their telephone customer "service" is abysmal.

Its awful you cant even call your branch. You haveto go thru a 1 800 number and siton hold for 30 minutes to a hour just to talk to someone to answer your question. Or they tell you, i cant help with that here ill have to transfer you to someone else. There you are for 30 to a hour agian.
