The small post office in Anderson SC was closed at 1:10 pm and the sign says on the door that they are closed daily for lunch between 2:00 - 3:00 pm. I could not come back after 3:00 pm because I had a medical appointment. I could not come back because they close at 4:30 pm. This has happened several times and continues to happens all the time! I need to contact the Post Master General when my life settles down.

Dropped a package off yesterday around 9 am and it still hasn’t been scanned in, over 24 hours later. Package was handed directly to a staff member but was told to next time, “just leave it on the counter.” Definitely wont ever do that.

You can't get these people on the phone. You call the local number and they transfer you to the next available representative and then hang up on you every single time!

I always have a great experience here. The employees are friendly and helpful and while at times they seem understaffed, I've never been treated with anything but a helpful smile and my needs have always been taken care of.

Zero Stars! They never answer the phone. My mail is not getting delivered when it's supposed too. The mail carrier leaves the lid open on my mail box and when it rains my mail is soaking wet.

They don't even deserve the 1 star. This PO is the worst I've ever had to deal with. I have a box that was supposed to be delivered exactly a week ago today.
Apparently, we had a Sub, who was absolutely lazy!!! And never delivered the box from Amazon. Then, again, on Friday, the same LAZY SUB said she tried to deliver it to my front door, ABSOLUTE BLANTANT LIE!! Because I was home all day. It all happened AGAIN on Saturday, same LAZY SUB!!
I called customer service Friday evening, and they did a service request. Plus, she gave me the direct phone number to this post office. I called all morning to find out where my package and mail(that we haven't received since last Thursday was)!! Nobody ans the phone!!! I literally called 15 times that morning!!! I would've gone down there had they ever picked up the phone!!!
So now we're up to Tuesday(of this week). Kept calling again, NO ANS!! I finally got a call from this office yesterday early afternoon(I was shocked)!! I nicely explained what had taken place, and I was guaranteed that my package and mail would be delivered today(Thursday). My mail carrier stated that she never saw my box nor any mail for either of us.
So I again called the customer service and explained that even their entries were LIES bc I was tracking the package and read what they entered.
I will from now on request any deliveries from anything I order online, will NEVER BE MAILED THROUGH USPS!!!

The absolute worst service in the country...Everytime someone sends me a package I have to pay for shipping then drive 20 min there and wait in 30 plus min line to pick up the package I payed to have delivered... Everytime !!!

Veronika is a gem at this location. Per usual, she was the only staff member working the front this morning. Even with a line out the door she was so kind, happy, and helpful to every single customer. She worked quickly and precisely to insure her customers' needs were taken care of. I applaud her for not getting overwhelmed and frustrated. She's a difference maker!
