My son was very nervous to get his hair cut today. The last time it was cut too short and I’ve had a hard time getting him to go back in. Now it’ll be impossible. He was embarrassed by the stylists, as was my husband. They noticed some dandruff and loudly talked about it and asked too many questions in front of other customers. They both felt humiliated and looked down upon. Instead of having a good bonding experience, they came home upset and both felt extremely self conscious. Stylists are supposed to make you feel good about yourself, not ashamed. A little social grace would have been appreciated, because the way this was handled was very unprofessional. If you’re like 50% of the population and have a little dandruff, I’d skip this location.

My son is on the spectrum.The lady let me sit and watch as she cut his hair .she did a great job and so did my son he handled the water spray on his hair and the noise of the clippers. I'll be bringing him back for future haircuts

I’m here in Batesburg taking care of my dad. Needed a shampoo because I had hand surgery. Checked in on line. Walked in and said all I needed was a shampoo and showed the girl my hand with the bandages. She said couldn’t do shampoo because only 3 workers and all the online check ins. Interesting since I checked in on line and only 1 worker was cutting a customer’s hair. The person who ‘greeted’ me - if you can call it that - was cleaning brushes etc. Has only been opened for 10 minutes?? Very poor customer service. I think the most basic thing for hair is a shampoo. I wasn’t asking for a haircut. I even told her that she didn’t need to blow it dry. Just leave it wet. I grew up in Batesburg and this is not how the town use to be. She said that I could travel to the Lexington Great Clips! I reminded her that I had to get back to taking care of my dad.

So me, my sister and my mom came in after checking in online and we're greeted by two young women.They were fairly nice but weren't very enthusiastic about being there (but who am I to judge, work is work ig)Anyways, after being seated one of the women began brushing through my hair, she ended up stopping and asking the other to come over and they ended up saying I had lice and they couldn't cut my hair, and it was pretty embarrassing(But it is understandable, I agree that they shouldn't cut hair with lice.)They then checked my mom and sister's and said they also had lice.But when we went home to begin treating it we found absolutely nothing. No lice and no Nits. Our heads were completely lice-free.I don't know what was going on or what they were thinking. I don't think they would lie because they had no reason too, but I know there was no actual lice.

I have been to Great Clips many times, many different locations. But, we got the best haircuts ever on Friday August 5th. I wish I could remember the staff member’s name, but I cannot recall it. She was great!!

Scheduled an on-line appointment, said it was a 25 minute wait which is about how long it took to drive there. Still had to wait another 20 minutes. Only two young stylist busy talking about other clients, with little customer service or professionalism. Only asked for a trim, straight cut across the back, and I had to explain to the “trained stylist” the difference in feathered bangs and thinning. Needless to say I had to go somewhere else to fix the areas of hair in the back that wasn’t even cut and hung lower than the rest. Terrible experience.

This place is complete garbage. Every time I come here there's always a problem the place doesn't close till 6:00 p.m. on Sunday I get here at 5:40 p.m. as soon as I hit the door the woman walks up and says I can't take any more customers I'm like why you don't close till 6:00 she's almost done cutting the person's hair but she tells me her manager told her not to take anyone else... now I have to be in Greenville early in the morning for a funeral and that's a 2-hour drive.. I look like a shaggy bear and I can't wear a hat at a funeral.. I expressed that I really need a haircut and that I have a funeral tomorrow she just turns around and walks away..what it is it's complete laziness.. if I had at least gotten my haircut I would have gave a $15 tip because it was late but I really needed a haircut and didn't realize I had to be in Greenville in the morning so thanks Great clips for letting me look like a shaggy bear at my great uncle's funeralService: Haircut
