CenturyLink was bad before but they are BrightSpeed. Changed without any notifications. Service down and this is a business line.Sounds like the robot is from China. No humans work there. They must have gotten pennies on the dollar. They are not worth that.The keep selling and the service keeps getting worse. No Personal service anymore.

This is the only internet provider in the area and they know it. Honestly the worst customer service I’ve ever had. I was on the phone for about 3 hours trying to work out an issue I had and I was transferred about 10x. After all of that they hung up on me.They had told me I didn’t need to be home for the install appointment because they just needed access to the yard. I got home and they had left a note saying that I need to reschedule when I can be home. I’ve been trying to get this set up since the end of July. It’s been over a month. I honestly hate this company and would pay double the price for a different wifi provider if there were any available.

Horrible service. The Technician canceled me 4 time already. I’ve missed work and they never show up. I guess they don’t want my service. I call customer service and they never solve my problem. They just reschedule me. I’ve been trying to get service since July. This is the only company available in my area. I’m so frustrated. It’s disappointing they work this way.

Absolutely deplorable Internet service. Not much better than a string and two tin cans. I was contract for 25 mbps. Barely, got 10mbps. When I tell its terrible, its orders of magnitude worst. Just switched to hargray. Centurylink should close up shop and get into another line work.

1/2 of a star would be too much! Cancelled the service before I ever had it. They lied about when the tech could come out. I had to back them in a corner so they would admit the tech never came out as originally scheduled. I started configuring the modem (3) days after they supposedly had the DSL line activated and in place. I noticed the WAN side DSL connection would not sync. I called and they said a technician would be out shortly that same day. I'd had enough! I told them to cancel the service. They did that at 10:30 AM and the technician still showed up several hours later. I lucked out though! I called Hargray and they have service at my address even though their web site said they didn't. I'm getting 500mbps downloads for $75 and was only going to get 10mbps from Centurylink for $65. Good riddance I say!

Terrible company, the customer service is horrible it took me 7 months to return equipment. I even paid to mail it to the address they said to and was returned back to me. (You can’t return anywhere at a physical building yourself, I tried) Finally talked the a manager and emailed me return mailing tag, and told me my account would be zeroed out once they receive equipment. Which was a lie apparently because then they gave my account to a debt collector... which is sticking me with a bill...DO Not use this company!

Had a tech come to install . He says I cannot have Internet because my home is too far from the pedestal . This pedestal is 1200 feet from my home.It is the same distance to my neighbors home. Guess what? My neighbor has Centurylink internet wired from this pedestal that is “too far” !! There is no other internet option available in my location. This company absolutely does not care. And they make it impossible to contact the person over the technician so I’m unable to complain up the chain

Horrible customer service. Wait hours, for people to give you a runaround. They lie, too - promising to deliver - and act like it’s not a big deal when they don’t. The customer is not right, in their books - and it shows they just don’t care. Save your time, money, and sanity - get your services elsewhere!!!

Not even a customer, just inquired about their service. Never signed paperwork or said I would accept. They sent me a router and a bill. Trying to get in touch with them now, and I get no answer. Horrible!

There are no offices with real people to talk to. The phone system will only handle very simple things like ordering or paying your bill. Customer service is poor. Internet service is spotty- goes in and out frequently.

The absolute worst service I’ve had in a lifetime. Spent more than 10 hours trying to move service from old house to new house. Didn’t keep appointments lied about installing rude customer service 20 days after initial call, still no service . Award winning worst service EVER.

Had problems with them from the start. First I ended up having to use 3 PTO days at work just so I could be there for the tech and when on the third day the tech didn't show (after them coming to my house and leaving something on my door saying they missed me, when I was home and in my apartment) , the customer service agent THEN informed me that they could mail all my equipment and I could hook it up myself and that I did not need to be there for the line to be turned on. Then over the next three months my service would randomly turn off and they had to send a tech to "fix" it. At one point I had no service for a month and a half. BUT STILL GOT A BILL. After speaking to customer service they assured me that they would waive that months bill because I had no service. On the next billing cycle, not only was I charged but I was charged an additional $80 for the tech to come out for the fourth time that week to "fix" the same issue for the millionth time. After a year and a half of extremely slow and spotty service I finally disconnected service only to find out that they have been charging me for two and a half years $10 a month for the equipment I had already bought when I turned on the service. If I could leave negative stars I would.

Incredibly long wait time, then after a 30 min conversation, they couldn’t even help me and I was just trying to pay my bill! Sent me to another number where I had an even longer wait time. Very frustrating. And the internet is very unreliable.
