“My mother and I had the best time in this place. It was one of the highlights of our trip to the SC coast. This is one of those thrift stores where you get to dig a little through stacks, racks, and boxes. We enjoy these types of stores more than the ones where everything is priced individually and laid out nice and neat. Two hours of fun! If we ever make it back to the area, we'll visit again.”
“A must see if you’re a Pat Conroy fan or if you’ve simply “just heard of him and his books”. To be clear, the museum is not a former Pat Conroy home but the collection housed within and the docent’s mastery of nearly all things Pat Conroy bring Pat, his personal history, his books (and the films based on his books) and the magnificent teachings found in his books, to life. I’d love to see his books added to required reading lists in schools to allow new generations of Pat Conroy readers to become exposed to his books and the lessons contained within the pages. Worth the stop and the time to view the collection and hear Pat Conroy’s story.”
