These reviews are not sticking if I include any details. Their behavior was so bad and so extreme that even generalizing it goes against review policy on this platform.

Watched them curse out a customer.. regardless the reason. Don’t do it in front of other customers. Unprofessional..

Super nice guys and fellow veterans (which is even better). Hooked up the scan tool to my truck on the spot and confirmed that my injectors were ok even though I had gotten a CEL code while towing. Even offered to do it for free. If you have a diesel truck this is the place to go.

We broke down with our diesel motorhome a long way from home. After contact 30+ shops who couldn’t or wouldn’t help us out for four or more weeks, these guys came to the rescue. Josh and Matt diagnosed the issue quickly and had us fixed up and back on the road in no time. We highly recommend this shop if you are in this area and need repairs!

I've been a customer of Forrester Performance for a number of years and always received excellent service. Recently, after I sold my home and began a 1-year adventure in our 5th wheel RV, my F-450 truck failed to start while I was in a campground finishing up some business in Beaufort. I had my truck towed to Matt's shop for him to diagnose the problem. A short time later he advised me that the TCM (transmission computer module) had gone bad. I asked him to get a new one so I could be on my way. After a national search I was told there were no new replacements available anywhere - thank you supply chain problems! Long story short, Matt always found a way for me to move my 5th wheel RV each time my allotted time in a given campground expired. Matt and Josh were nothing short of fantastic in helping my wife and me deal with this situation, eventually installing a used TCM I had purchased from a scrap yard in Montana. I cannot thank Matt for the wonderful way he treated us and the beyond-expectation efforts he put forth in resolving our dilemma.

SUPURB SERVICE!!! Six fuel injector replacements (OEM to S&S), valve lashing, and Banks Monster-Ram Air intake installation. After paying for a RAM dealership diagnostic; I went to Forrester Proformance and expressed my concerns and discussed my vehicles discrepancies. Mr. Forrester re-diagnost my vehicle and provided me with sound recommendations.Mr. Forrester, and his Mechanics, have demonstrated themselves to be knowledgeable, skillful, and professional.I asked them to provide picture(s) of the old injectors installed and new injectors installed...Mr. Forrester did one better...he video recorded the entire job (they may or may not, do this for you)The engine performs very smooth. There's no valve chatter, no heavy fan noise (like the engine needs more air) and in the mid range acceleration (about 17-22psi) the turbo is in FULL Command. I have a '16 RAM 3500 DRW Laramie Longhorn Mega cab (with Top Stock Everything) and an AS69RC transmission so, everything is smoothhhh. It's not aggressive like a young man's competition performance bucket...more like a middle aged man that would teach you a serious lesson (once) Truck. They did good work on my vehicle.Everyone may not have the same experience that I've had with Forrester Performance (I sincerely hope that it would be even better); but the only way to know for sure, would be to give them a call and find out for yourself.I highly recommend their service(s) and would return for future business.

My 2007 F250 began showing a misfire after reaching operating temperature on cylinders 7 and 8. Another symptom it had was also a sticky idle while driving. I knew it wasn't a throttle sensor but I couldn't pin point the misfire following my injector replacement. Matt took my truck in and went to work immediately using his state of the art software and his in-depth experience and knowledge of powerstrokes. He found that the IPR sensor had failed and when he took it out, he discovered that it had blown itself apart internally. He swapped out the sensor and tested the truck again to ensure that the problem was solved. He will alert you if he finds any other issues that need attention as well. He provides feedback of your vehicle with suggestions to help you along your way. He treats you and your property with respect. Straight forward, fair pricing, and no BS. Semper Fidelis

I had an issue with my 7.3 Ford. I diagnosed it incorrectly, however Matt, Josh and the rest of the guys were able to ascertain the underlying issue. They did a great job and I am thoroughly impressed and very thankful to have a trusted mechanic here in town.

Forrester Diesel did fantastic work on my OBS 7.3. Finding a good trustworthy mechanic can be hard, but from now on, I know where my truck will be going for all it’s work. He was fast, proficient, and honest. If you are looking for a trustworthy mechanic in the Beaufort area, look no further.

Called and expressed what I needed done on my 03 VW Jetta. Very cut and dry injection pump rebuild. Matt who is owner said no big deal and quoted me a rough estimate over the phone. He said it would require an injection pump test after the rebuild in which he would need to send it off. Ive done extensive research on this prior because I was going to rebuild it myself and didn’t read anywhere in which this was required. I respected the fact that he was being more cautious and investigated it further. I decided that I did not want it and just wanted him to reseal it. I texted him letting him know and I got no response for several days. I called back letting them know the situation and that I hadn’t heard back yet and needed it done asap due to the leak. I spoke with another gentleman who happen to originally be from the same state as me. He quoted me for the reseal and a timing belt change and said he’d send me an email with a link to pay for the seal's. No email came that evening so I waited until the next day around 6:15 PM. After no response, I called and reach Matt who right off the bay seemed irritated. I explained that I had not heard back from him in several days and I had spoke with another gentleman on the phone the day before and still didn’t receive the email. He stated that “ok he didn’t email you” and that he had “4 engines out of vehicle” and my business was not that important. I try to support local small businesses but most times this is the reason why people don’t. Customer service and being straight up about time lines and expectations goes a long way.
