“New Spring simply teaches the Bible and rightly refuses to twist the truth to fit the culture. Although I attend another Anderson, SC church, I love New Spring and still attend occasionally to get a jolt of great teaching, first class music, and to reconnect with other Christian brothers and sisters. New Spring embraces Biblical principles in everything they do- leaderships not only encourage tithing from members, but make sure that New Spring itself tithes to support other unaffiliated churches in need. I know this because New Spring made a huge donation to my congregation when our building was badly damaged by a fire and needed expensive EPA-approved clean up. For those that have given good reviews here…thank you. For those giving bad reviews, please remember that good ministry comforts the disturbed and disturbs the comfortable. I come from a family of several Christian ministers over several generations. Being a minister and leading a church is rewarding but extremely difficult endeavor. The apostle Paul writes about this in Corinthians…churches are not any better than the fallible people that attend. We ALL are fallible! My best advice, if you are hurt by a comment or a perceived slight in your church don’t leave…tell your pastor or a trusted member and heal. Don’t get bitter…get better!”

“Our first-time visit was met with unexpected attention. A young woman graciously walked us to where we needed to be to register our children. We were then met by another woman who took the time to sign up all the kids and proceeded to walk each to their proper rooms. Pointing the adults in the right direction to the auditorium and more smiling, joyful greetings. A wonderful sermon by Pastor Dan on a tough scripture subject in Corinthians. Praise and worship were refreshing and encouraging. Thank you all for your part in making our visit wonderful. May God continue to bless this church.”
