We were stranded with a dead battery. The phone number for this AAA was not answered during business hours. We called another agency in a town farther away and they transferred us to this one again, with no answer. We eventually called a tow truck on our own.

Pay a lot money to be a AAA member and they don’t even have a notary public. Their excuse - sorry but that person left and we have not replaced her. Bottom line - they save the expense and I still pay the same amount - terrible customer service!

Beware, don’t get a membership with AAA lol abandon you on the side of the road. I don’t understand how technology can wipe out a corporations ability to provide the service people have been paying for.No management will apologize say that they’ll refund you but they don’t reimburse you. They just want to extend your membership you’re paying for nothing you’re going to have to call a tow truck driver yourself anywayDo not get a AAA membership it’s wasted money

Came in to grab my International Drivers License for my move abroad. Quick, efficient and friendly! All done within 20 minutes, $20 fee for the license and the pictures for said ID are free if you’re a member! Thank you Brandon? (I think that was his name, prolly wrong) for the fast and friendly service!

WOW! I am so grateful for Daniel and his quick response to us this morning! I had a dead battery, and he was there within minutes, diagnosed the situation immediately, and replaced my battery even faster. Thank you Daniel, and thank you AAA- I HIGHLY recommend!

In Hilton Head and had a dead battery. Called at 9:25am. Told would be an hour....cool. 10:30am looked for an update, not dispatched. Called and told now was 11:30am. Then looked online...changed to 12:30. Called again at 12:30pm. Told would be 1pm.....bottom line they blew me off until I found a jump. (After telling me it was a liability to give me a jump, Spinnaker finally got me a jump) AAA final eta was 3:45pm. When I called to cancel they told me they had most HHI towing and support services cancel so they really don't have any provider in the area. YEAH, I'll be cancelling AAA auto renewal soon as home and getting coverage thru my ins co. Even though there's my take as long at least it doesn't cost $300 for three people. It covers my cars.

I called the branch and was routed to the entire Carolinas call center. I was on hold for over 40 minutes. Then when they answered I had to be transferred twice because the agents didn't understand what I needed. When they finally understood what I needed they still did not correct the issue in the system for me to renew my license plate. Took me over a month, 7 calls and multiple visits to the DMV for AAA to finally fix the problem correctly.

Worst customer service ever !!!!! Been waiting on a tow for over an hour hasn’t even been assigned to anyone , placed on hold for hour no help I will never use you guys again!! I have also contacted many directors and Vp with not even a response AAA has went down hill I’d recommend using another towing service .

I went in to get my IDL, I called a couple days in advance. I was told I didn't need to make a reservation. When I got there, they were short handed. I had to return later in the day. Do yourself a favor and call before you go. But everyone was helpful in getting my IDL.

Probably the worst customer service I've ever received from any company, period. Simply bottom of the barrel customer service from AAA's main call center and their vendors (towing companies) involving 2 separate incidents over my 20 year AAA Membership. Should have cancelled my membership after my first horrid experience some 18 years ago when I needed roadside assistance. When I called AAA, I spoke with a very rude customer service representative it would be at least 4.5 hours before anyone could arrive at my roadside location in the Washington, DC area. I was advised I might want to call a private towing/roadside assistance company in the interim. Lucky for me, a state motorist aide come by and got my vehicle to a repair facility. And my most recent and final total fiasco with AAA started this morning when I needed to have my car towed to the repair shop. My first call to AAA was at 7:49 this morning. The first tow truck company was to arrive by 8:21, then I received another update it would arrive by 9:21 and a third update it would not arrive until 10AM. This prompted me to call AAA again, they in turn called another towing company who did call at 9:47 and said they would be out in an hour. I called the tow company around 10:50 and the person rudely told me they would get here when they could! It's been almost 4 hours and I'm still waiting for the tow truck. Really, 4 hours for a tow truck? You call this service AAA, I call it what I flush down the toilet every morning!
