I unfortunately also had a similar experience at the Malphrus store in Bluffton SC. Melissa the “manager” processed a transaction for myself and family to purchase two new iPhone 15+. One phone arrived as ordered and the other phone was just an iPhone 15. I returned the iPhone 15 to the store and directly to Melissa immediately. She assured me she would process this as an exchange. Days later I received the new iPhone 15+. This was in October 2023. For the past three months I have been visiting Melissa at the store as AT&T reports they’ve never received the phone I handed directly to Melissa.Melissa has been telling me one lie after another. In the beginning, she told me that the warehouse always loses phones and it just takes them a while to track them down. Then she told me she had no way to look and see where my phone was or what happened to it but I wouldn’t be charged. Also she told me she has no way to recover a tracking number for sending it in.I’ve contacted AT&T customer service and they are unable to help and refer me back to the store. I recently went to the store had AT&T customer service on the phone and asked her to speak to them to let them know she processed my phone as an exchange and sent it back and she refused. Now I am responsible for paying for this phone. And furthermore customer service 800 number told me that when she processed the exchange, she actually put notes in that I was going to be mailing back the phone myself. Why would I go to the store then?!The needs to be investigated. And yes, I’ve also experience the store being closed during business hours and listening to her tell other customers when they do come into the store for help- they must contact customer service on the 800 number. She does not greet anyone entering the store and rarely makes eye contact.Do yourself a favor. Don’t go to the store! And for that matter, don’t go to AT&T.I have been in contact with some of the other customers who have had the similar experiences, and they have not received any help from AT&T at all. Sounds like ananti-customer all about the money company to me.

Read all the reviews! They are 100% correct!! DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. They have trouble with the truth, zero customer service, lock the doors at different times during business hours. There are so many other choices out there- do yourself a favor- save yourself many headaches- DON'T GO TO THE MALPHURUS LOCATION. ZERO STARS. There should be a way to select negative stars.

For starters all the doors except one was locked, I had to go around the other side to get in. When I walked in the woman working didn’t look up at me or greet me at all! I had to walk over and get her attention which she didn’t seem happy about. I had been in this location and talked to the same lady a few months ago and asked if they could transfer 2 lines to a different account and she said YES they could do that so I said I would be back when I have the time… I asked her the same question today and she said she can’t help with that and I would have to do it online.. I couldn’t figure it out because it didn’t give me an option to type in another account and she still said she couldn’t help. Customer service doesn’t exist anymore I guess!

Rude and unwelcoming. Employee said before even looking at my 72 year olds mother phone, "I probably can't do nothing, but check for updates." She never even looked at the phone! Did even try to help and body language simply wanted us gone. I would not recommend if you're looking for support from the company where we customers purchase $500+ phones.

Checking for deals for family, salesperson gave us a program that allowed an upgrade. Was very upfront no bas and though it's a longer term. It works. Best deal around among all the players. So went with it.

I went to the store on Sept 23 to see if they had the iPhone 15 pro max. When I was in the store the manager Melissa let me know there was a deal going on I agreed to the deal. I received the iPhone 15 pro max on Friday, September 29th and Melissa said that they would return the iPhone 13 Pro Max. When I received my bill for the month of December and it was not normal it drew red flex I tried calling the store on December 1 no one answered and then when I came back I went to the store on Tuesday, December 5. They said that the system was down. I went back on Friday, December 8 And Melissa said that she was going to call whoever she need to call on Saturday, December 9 to get my bill changed and this has been going on for two weeks and I’ve gone back yesterday Monday, December 11 and I went back today Tuesday, December 12 and every time I’ve gone the store has been closing early when you guys are supposed to be open till seven now this is ridiculous. I need to get my bill fixed. I was also informed that my iPhone 13 Pro Max was never returned and that is Unacceptable. I will be no longer doing businesses with you i’m over it and I need this resolved now. They stole my iPhone 13 Pro Max and they are trying to say it my fault when the store is responsible for returning the phone when you do a trade in

Unfortunately, I visited this store on November 21st to get a new phone as both my son's and mine were not working. Initially, the manager treated us well and offered two phone options. She mentioned that they didn't have one of the phones in the store and that it needed to be ordered. I agreed to the option of ordering the phone. Since that date, I have visited the store every single day, only to be told that the phone has not yet arrived and that the manager has not been at work. Nobody can provide me with information about my purchase. I have never experienced such a low level of professionalism and customer service.I have been without a phone for over a week, and while I have been extremely patient, but this is unacceptable. Today, when I called 611-ATT for assistance, I was informed that unfortunately, no phone had been ordered for me. The only transaction recorded at this store was the addition of two new lines to my family account without my authorization.

Stopped in to upgrade my phone and unfortunately they didn’t have what I wanted. However,.Tayina was very friendly and helpful with all the questions that I had. Excellent customer service and would definitely do business with her.

Walked in to the store asking for help as to why my phone wasn’t receiving service. Was the only customer in the store, and the 2 employees barely could be bothered to look away from their phones. The employee literally rolled her eyes at me as if I was inconveniencing her. Turned me off to AT&T and will be switching providers.

Went to your store to purchase the new I-phone. The employee there was with a customer so we walked around and browsed. After 10 minutes, the woman working never said “hello, be right with you…”or any kind of greeting whatsoever. Though she looked right at us, totally ignored us. So we left and purchased our phone on line. Have never had any issues with your store previously and was quite disappointed.

This store is awesome! Melissa helped out with everything I needed. I know they’re a little short staffed right now but the wait time was t bad and I got help with everything that I needed. Thank you Melissa for getting everything fixed for me!

Uncaring, unfriendly, and apparently unmotivated staff....as usual. This is probably the third time I've asked for assistance from this location, and they either have no idea how to help or no motivation to do so. I'm amazed AT&T allows its name to be association with this store. I won't ever go back there.

Due to time constraints I needed assistance with downloading a Microsoft Soft Teams app on my cellphone for a college I am starting tomorrow. Melissa from the AT@T store graciously assisted and was successful downloading the app. In addition, she helped removed a Spam on my cellphone. I am extremely appreciative with her assistance and customer service on such short notice!
