My experience with Coastal Property Management was profoundly disappointing. I entrusted this company with the management of my property when I received military orders overseas. While they were helpful before the tenant moved in, their priorities shifted once the tenant arrived. The property manager consistently catered to and prioritized the tenant's requests, even if they went against the terms of the contract/lease. This neglect led to significant damage to my brand new home, including a broken 86-inch TV, a damaged dishwasher (for which Coastal tried to hold me responsible), and a devastating fire that destroyed the second floor, attic, and back of the house. Coastal Property Management blatantly disregarded the terms of the lease, unfairly holding me financially responsible for damages clearly outlined as the tenant's responsibility. Furthermore, the lack of support and communication when my house caught fire was deeply distressing. There was no outreach from my property manager during this critical time, and the company seemed more interested in covering for their own staff's lack of response and performance rather than addressing my concerns as a paying customer. It felt like I was not paying for services but rather for my house to be neglected and damaged. Despite expressing my concerns to the property manager, nothing changed. It's evident that Coastal Property Management prioritized catering to the tenant over fulfilling their obligations to me as a property owner. Their failure to adhere to the terms of the agreement and their lack of support during a crisis situation are clear indicators of their incompetence and lack of professionalism. Such behavior is inexcusable and reflects poorly on the company's integrity and commitment to its clients.

Coastal Long Term has been a fantastic property management company. I own 16 total rentals in different areas with different property managers. Laura, Dave, & the rest of the team are by far the best property management company I have ever worked with. Fantastic investment.

Our first rental experience and it was stress free. Being remote we leaned on Laura, Kathy and their team to manage our property and we certainly made the right choice.
Communication was constant and clear. The lease process was extremely easy. Questions were addressed immediately.
I don’t think we could have made a better choice!
