Growing up in Pittsburgh, we were surrounded by great pizza. There were neighborhood pizzerias on almost every corner, but there were only one or two whose pizza really stood out. We visited our favorites, not only because we craved the pizza, but also because we were inspired by the passion of the owners. We watched them make their sauce and dough from scratch, chop mountains of fresh veggies, and hand-slice the meats.
Looking back, we realize why only one or two places were truly great; they cut no corners! Just as the neighborhood pizzerias did back then, Giuseppi’s Pizza & Pasta insists on the freshest and most authentic ingredients, we don’t cut corners. Our sauce is made fresh from California tomatoes.
