I've been a loyalty customer with KROGER for years and encountered an associate at self check out by the name of Thomas. who was very rude, loud and unprofessional with me when I tried to explain to him that a product was on sale and did not ring up properly. He refused to address the issue. He claimed that I couldn't get the sale item. I told him that he was incorrect. He simply ignored me. I had to then go to customer service, who resolved the issue and agreed with me that he was incorrect. I requested to speak with management. I explained what happened to Amy who simply apologized. But the service again was very unprofessional and highly unacceptable! Kroger needs to do a better job at hiring people with customer service skills!I AM TIRED OF PEOPLE IN THE SERVICE INDUSTRY WHO ARE RUDE!

While shopping for Instacart, an older white male harassed and ridiculed me in the produce area. The area was crowded and somehow I was singled out, I’m guessing because of my race, because I simply was maneuvering through so that I could shop my order. To add insult to injury, while checking out in the self-checkout, the older white male attendant made a comment to another customer complaining because I asked for help. I feel like I’m not welcome here as a black female.

Hard to believe how this store operates in general. Shopping experience is astonishing, only self checkouts, and three cashiers/baggers. I worked at this Kroger for three months this year, I couldn't believe such corporation that claims to be, "fast, fresh, friendly" would manipulate their employees. The front end managers are beyond unfit to be front end managers. The store leader and assisting store leader would tease every employee by either shopping or find a way to critique an employee for no reason. I DO NOT recommend this store as a job, really! The summer retention pay is a lie, and a rip off! Maybe the people running this store are asking for this Kroger store to be shut down. There are far better jobs, and grocery stores with less employees, more customers, and still perform at an outstanding rate.

Worst managed Kroger from SC to GA. It’s a normal thing see 25 people standing in a line with only three registers open while mangers are walking around doing nothing. They need new managers.

Been shopping here since it opened and it’s gone downhill the last few months. They put some sort of different wheels on the shopping carts and now not a single cart runs smooth. They all shake and make a ton of noise. They also got rid of 3 self checkout lanes and added a single self checkout with a conveyor belt…? Which makes lines even slower because there’s 2 less lanes. They will also rarely open more than one 2 rows of self checkout lanes.Prices are pretty good. The store is very clean and staff is friendly. Neither of those 2 complaints are regular staffs fault. Its management

I had a very bad experience at our local Kroger Store located at: 27 Discovery Place, Bluffton SC.I had gone to the store to purchase some razor blades which are often on sale. I noticed that certain cases of drinking water were also on sale along with certain laundry detergents. Both the razor blades and laundry detergent were listed on the shelf as "buy two at a reduced price". When I reached the checkout, the clerk's register charged the full price on everything but the drinking water. I pointed that error out and she looked in the coupon books and other info available to her. She couldn't find any info so said she'd have to ask the manager. She left her checkout station and disappeared for about 5 minutes. People who were lined up behind me to check out were becoming extremely agitated as they had stuff piled up all over the check-out belt and didn't want to leave their place in line. When the checkout clerk finally returned, she apologized to everyone in-line and then wrang up the correct dollar amounts. I thanked her for having made the correction which was close to a $18.00 discount on just those two items. On leaving, I told her that I would like to speak to the Manager before leaving the Store and that it was nothing derogatory about her. She said the manager was not in today, but the Assistant Manager's name was Amy and pointed to where she was working.I went to the spot where Amy was located and waited in line until she was free. I told her that the store had an issue and pointed out that items being purchased should reflect the proper "sale price". I told her about the two items that "wrang up" incorrectly" when I checked out.At this point, she got a little haughty with me for having said that......then I said to her: "Someone is not doing their job correctly". That statement seemed to make her very angry, so I started in on her in a slightly elevated voice, but I did not use any foul language, I asked for the General Manager's name which she refused to give me and then she asked me to leave the store. In my opinions, this Amy, the so-called Assistant Manager, should not be managing anyone or anything. It will be a long time before I return to this store. I have been a Kroger shopper for a long time and never encountered such a rude employee.

Getting cold cuts from the deli counter is a painful experience. I can't get used to how the store is organized. I still can't find veggie burgers.

Where are all the carts and clerks? Pull the 3 people you have in produce and put two of them on the registers, if google can twll tou when your peak time of business is then you should be able to schedule more people to work. My wife is bagging other people’s grocery’s just to move the lines. Its Sunday and this happenes every Sunday!!!! We shop for 30 minutes and then sit in a line for 45!!!!!!!!

Terrible customer service. No concern for my valid complaints. Sale tags are rarely updated. It's a shame because this Kroger has potential to be one of the best groceries in the area. Management is failing

Got pickup today and though it was a quick and friendly experience i received rotten fruit. I understand theres a lot going on sometimes but youd think theyd try to keep up on food that is no longer good as it can make someone very sick.

I have enjoyed the mobile ordering for pick up. I did do the trial for delivery but when it was only with instacart I did not like it. I was wanting the Kroger cold truck to keep my items cold. If I am paying the extra I would like the extra. Until we get the Kroger trucks I will stick to pick up. There have been a few occasions when we had to wait almost 30 minutes for our order to come out for half of it to be out of stock or one time it was missing. But all these things happen because we are human. I will say this store is large. If you do not like being in large store do pick up orders. When I am inside I use the app to help me find the location of items. They have many different allergy friendly foods as well.
