La Casita is a Mexican grocery store that has been in the area for a few years. While the store is well-stocked with the necessary ingredients for traditional Mexican dishes, the quality and preparation of the food have been disappointing to some customers. The meat is reported to lack flavor, the rice is not properly cooked, and the bread is described as stale. Additionally, customers have noted that the store appears a bit messy and that there are no visible prices for the items, leading to confusion at the checkout. However, the staff, particularly the young woman at the register, has been praised for their friendly and welcoming demeanor, treating all customers with respect regardless of their background. Overall, La Casita seems to offer a decent selection of Mexican groceries, but the food quality and pricing transparency could use some improvement.
It is well stocked in terms of groceries and what is necessary for basic Mexican cuisine, the only detail is that there are NO prices for anything in sight, of what I grabbed to buy, I didn't know the price until I was at the checkout to pay and Plus the place looks a little messy.
