I was warned not to go to this Best Buy. I now know why. I purchased a new desktop computer, complete with everything you can get, software, warranty, and even paid to have their Geek Squad install it. They couldn't get to me for a week, so we set up an appointment for them to be at my home between 7:30-11:30 AM..NO one showed up..NO one called ..nothing..I called the store 8 times only to get their Corporate answer service located in either the Phillipines, or India. They told me the Bluffton Store is the one they get the most complaints on, an even gave me a work around number to by pass the corporate answer team. So I called the number and the guy said "hold on" and I did, for 50 minutes. In the meantime I found out they scheduled my installation on Thanksgiving weekend with out asking me if I would even be home..I would like the movie rights to this story because it's a freakin horror show..Do Not do business with Best Buy in Bluffton SC..They have no management or any structure or systems to make customers happy..

Lowering review since have been in store 3 times in past week to get help with a major AV and TV purchase and can't get anyone to help. Only reason not to purchase on line is if you can receive in store customer service. This is not the store - save yourself the frustration and use other options.

My daughter and I went to BB to purchase a laptop for her before she starts school. We were told that we needed to be one a "list". So we did. We then proceeded to watch the 3 people behind us on the list get serviced first. I went to inquire about the list and Stephanie could not have been ruder. I made my disappointment known and she could have cared less. I will not be back to that store. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!

I took my phone in to be repaired and when returned to me, it was in worse condition. They denied me service to help with the issue.

My new Apple Watch would not sync for cellular service with my iPhone. I spent over 5 hours with ATT support and tech service, who finally decided I needed a new SIM card and told me to go to the nearest ATT store. I went to the Bluffton store where the clerk sneered that a new SIM Would not solve the problem and that his store was only retail. He would not call ATT tech support, which had notes on my case. I then went to Best Buy in desperation, where I was fortunate enough to find Nyiah Jackson in the Mobile Phone department. She worked patiently for over an hour, calling ATT customer and tech support until she finally solved my problem. This is pure customer service at its finest!

they do not answer the telephone, not enough employees in the store , incompetent employees, there answer for these issues "covid". i wasted over 1 1/2 hours purchasing a mac computer for over $2,000, and did not receive the monitor or keyboard he said i would get with it. they need to train employees better. when i called and told the manager i didn't get what he told and he was inept at his job. she said i'm hanging up on you for insulting her employee. i would give this store 0 stars if i could.

It was Black Friday and my sister was looking for a TV. Best Buy had the best deal, but the closest store to her didn't have any in stock. So we ordered here (about 45 minutes away) and headed that way. Pick up process was extremely efficient - I checked in on my phone and in less than 2 minutes they brought the tv out to my car. Friendly associate as well. Would recommend utilizing the pick up services here!

My 89 y/o dad pays an annual membership fee to Best Buy Geek Squad only to be taken advantage of, it seems. A call for help regarding his printer resulted in them selling him a brand new printer when all that was needed was for a previous printer to be uninstalled and the correct selection to be made. I am not at all computer literate, but even I figured that out within 2 minutes. Aren't they supposed to be pros? Fortunately, he did not open the new printer box and it will be returned. Let's hope there are no issues with that!

I could not be more frustrated with Best Buy. I had my reservations about buying again from Best Buy having had a number of bad experiences but I thought I would give it another try. The most recent was the worst yet. I bought a washer and dryer on the Best Buy website and specified the type of washing mechanism in the washer. Since the closest store to my address is Bluffton, I had it sent their for pickup. I paid someone to pick the washer and dryer up, take it to the dock, have it ferried over to the island where my address is, and then had it picked up from the island dock to be delivered to my address on Daufuskie Island. When I opened the washer box, it was the wrong typed of mechanism being an impeller and not the agitator the order clearly shows. I tried calling the store only to get a recording saying the store is not taking calls. I tried the online support chat only to be told they could not help me and I would have to call the store. I called the store again and was sent to a call center who told me I would need to go to the store. At this point, I bought an item which was not what was sent to the store. I have paid several hundred dollars to have that item picked up and brought over to my address. Now, a mistake on the part of Best Buy would require me to pay to bring that back, and then pay to bring over the correct item again. This costs of over $1000 to correct a mistake on the part of Best Buy, let alone the time I have already spent and would have to spend to correct it, make this by far the worst Best Buy experience to date. I do not see how you remain in business.

So Horrible! I have been trying for days to get through to exchange a refrigerator that is damaged. No one answers the phone ever. I will never buy anything from Best Buy again nor should you. I even have the GS number from the manufacturer to return the item I can't get through to give it to them and arrange the exchange. A refrigerator that was brand new and is damaged the front plate keeps popping off and they don't answer their phone.

Most disorganized Best Buy I have ever been to in the nation. It appears there are enough employees working but you undoubtedly wait for an extraordinary amount of time at a confusing line with balloons in the rear of store near the Apple and computer products. Half of the line goes one way and the other half down a different aisle so people fight over their position in line for assistance. Also - massive lack of inventory. I understand it's after the holidays but it's beyond ridiculous. The people who work here are very nice but I'm unclear why there are so many employees assigned to places that aren't busy when there are customers wandering aimlessly in need of help or stuck in an odd line waiting. Someone please help this store get efficient and organized. One word: DISASTER.

They have adapted very well to the virus. They wear masks and gloves, but they outside service is not very good and they won't let you go in the store unless you know the exact model of the thing your getting. Even if you do know they still most of the time won't let you in. The service is terrible to I went for a Apple Watch and when I told them the lady says they didn't have them. I still asked if she could check she huffed and looked not only did they have about 150 Apple watches in stock they had the exact one i came for. The point is they need to hire some more people.

My Dad a disabled Vet in his 70's made a large purchase (a television) at the Best Buy in Bluffton, SC. Six months later it died. It was my parents understanding they had purchased the appropriate plans for repairs and replacement. Geek Squad came once and had to order parts. The next scheduled repair date was canceled and rescheduled because the parts never came. Third scheduled repair date - one of the parts arrived broken and the other parts didn't fix the issue. (All these visits were scheduled around my Dad's emergency hospitalization to surgically repair an aortic dissection.) Although the Geek Squad techs have been great to work with, evidently the Store Manager is pushing for Samsung to resolve the issue. On 10/5 an appointment was scheduled for Best Buy's last repair option...it was unsuccessful. Two days later despite the Best Buy tech's urging the manager to replace the television, the store manager is refusing and now wants my parents to deal with Samsung. Samsung can't get a tech to even look at the television for another week. Protection plan and repairs aside, the customer service displayed by the store manager is seriously lacking. Perhaps the manager should have said my parents needed to contact Samsung from the start. Perhaps the store manager should have listened to his techs and just replaced the television saving the time, energy, and frustration and keeping a loyal customer. Instead the manager has arrogantly stood his ground refusing to replace a television that should not have died in the first place and caused my parents needless frustration, aggravation and stress. Nobody should have to deal with a lack of customer service like this much less, my Dad a Disabled Vet recovering from major heart surgery and my Mom trying to keep it all together.
