I have never had a problem with most of the massage therapist last time I went I had a pinched nerve in my right arm and the therapist concentrated on my left arm because she said muscles there were so the pain remained in my right arm afterwards and all she did was rub no massage and the massage you did give me was extremely painful so don't go see Christy I have been a client for over I've been a client for over a year

When I walked in I had thrown my back out and still couldn’t stand up straight. A few weeks later and I feel like I’m half my age again! Worth the membership.

Massage envy used to be wonderful. I was a member since this location opened but recently canceled. I have made numerous appointments and most of the time they are canceled several days before appointment and sometimes the day before. I have two credits to use and cannot because they either never have appointments or I make appointment then it is canceled. I have left message for manager but I never get a return call. I just want to use my last 2 credits and move on. My advice do not join you will only be ripped off.

Terrible Service . They treat costumers like they are a government agency .
Total disregard for costumer satisfaction .
General manager Phillip and front desk person Allison completely rude and don't care to be helpful or to have a good costumer service attitude . Business like this hurt our community . Avoid getting involve with them .
I have payed for a whole worth massages and have not able to get in. OVER 700 IS A SCAM ! MUST AVOID AT ALL COST.

The WORST!! Avoid! Masseuses wear rubber gloves during the massage. Unfriendly staff. Weird impersonal. Even the massage oil they use is cold. I've been a Massage Envy subscriber for years. Worst ever.

Every time I go to massage envy I have a personalized experience. Jessica is the best! And for a facial Stephanie is awesome! I always leave feeling relaxed and revived.

If you are considering a membership to this massage envy....DON'T! I never write or complain. I am very, very disappointed! I have been disappointed for the last 6 months so I am now writing. I do not define a massage as "rubbing lotion" around in a slow motion as a massage. I have been through most of the massage therapists here and most are less than mediocre but definitely not anywhere close to massage envy standards. Some therapists here should be fired, period. They waste more time arranging the sheets than they do actually massaging. A massage is rubbing the muscles, not holding a spot for five minutes that does nothing and then rubbing on some more lotion. Since I travel, I have loved Massage Envy in knowing I can get a good reliable massage in most cities. Somehow Bluffton is clueless about ensuring massage envy standards. There are two truly qualified massage therapists...Glenn and Arkeem. These two are great massage therapists!!!! Glenn is exceptional. When I call to get appointments with them, they are booked three months out so I have tried several others. The massage therapists that claim to be "deep tissue" need to actually get a true deep tissue massage so they understand what it means.I scheduled a deep tissue massage with a therapist I had not yet tried and after 30 min of rubbing lotion, I asked her about deep tissue. The therapist stated that it was not booked as a deep tissue massage. I had specifically asked for deep tissue. I then asked the front desk clerk and they said it certainly was supposed to be deep tissue. The massage therapist stated that they don''t get paid more and it takes more effort to do deep tissue. So this massage therapist just decided to rub lotion even though it was scheduled for a deep tissue massage???? And I am paying for a 90 minute massage in which there was no massage. I have had this happen several times here .so I am finally writing about it. My husband also joined and is so disappointed after three months he is cancelling his membership. There's no quality control to ensure the employees are keeping up massage envy standards and giving a good massage. The front desk girls are not helpful. After traveling and getting massages elsewhere it made me realize how lousy most of the employees are at this Bluffton site. The front desk people at other massage envy places are wonderful and truly want to know if you are happy with your massage. The owner should be ashamed as there have been many complaints.and nothing is being done to change the pattern of lousy massages. I am seriously considering canceling my 9 year membership since I am not traveling as much.

I have a monthly membership to Massage Envy that I have had in place for maybe 7-8 years. In that time I have probably used the services 10 times, and I have not used the services at all since the pandemic started yet have paid every month. (Yes, a huge waste of money but that's on me). Tonight, for the first time in perhaps 3 years, I had an appointment for a massage. I was not told when I made the appointment that a mask would be required. I walked in and was told I had to wear a mask. I have had Covid, I have been vaccinated....and you still expect me to wear a piece of paper over my mouth. I get massages to relax, and hindering my breathing is not relaxing. I just don't do business with companies that have a mask mandate in place. I will be cancelling my subscription.
