Second time getting takeout. First time was ok.... Tonight the pasta was bloated and complete mush. Nothing worse than mush pasta. Couldn't even finish it. Husband said his was ok. So disappointed.

Our family ate here yesterday for dinner, we had lasagna, manicotti, spaghetti, and chicken Parmesan. Everything was fantastic! Definitely a great meal, fair prices, nice atmosphere. Highly recommend!!!

Ate there for the second time the other night. The first time was not a very good experience with mushy pasta. We thought we'd give them another try but they had some real issues with getting food out of the kitchen. Again the pasta was overcooked. An Italian restaurant should not serve pre-cooked pasta if they want to survive. And this pasta definitely tasted pre-cooked and certainly was not al dente. The eggplant Parmesan was a mushy mess of cheese and sauce with no crispiness to the egg plant itself. The owner was extremely pleasant and apologetic about our wait and would not charge us for our meal. If it were worth it I would've insisted on paying but we were happy to leave a tip and made the decision to not return for a third disappointment in the future.

Good food...nice people...but!. The restaurant is dated and in need of face lift, but that shouldn't detract from the good food and the service pleasant. The only thing that irked us on this visit, was that we were charged an additional $6.00 for "entertainment"; which consisted of a duo that was too loud and sounded like something you would find on a bad cruise. My wife and are not cheap, but to be held captive to pay for entertainment that was not entertaining is wrong. If the restaurant wants to "offer" live music, then they should pay accordingly. And one last little thing, when we received the bill it had the different levels of tip printed at the bottom, starting at 18% and going to 30%...really?

I live in Connecticut and called Nonna Lucia looking for a meal to be delivered to a dear friend that had just lost his wife after a long illness with Alzheimer's. I first spoke with Colin, who had initially told me they did not deliver, but after hearing why I wanted food delivered, he told me that he was sure they could help and forwarded my name to the owner, Michelle. He told me she would call me. All I can say is Michelle, went above and beyond to help! The next day she delivered a perfect meal to our friend that he totally enjoyed. And, because Nonna Lucia is BYOB, she even stopped at a wine shop for me, and bought a bottle of vino to be delivered with the meal. Thank you so much Michelle and Nonna Lucia! If we are passing through your way we will stop in for a meal!

Wow BYOB ! Yes what a great concept and I wish more restaurants around Bluffton and Hilton Head implemented this gem.Fantastic job by the chef, and the entire staff here. Rigatoni ala vodka, pappardelle bolognese, cannoli, and the limoncello cake were all fantastic. Portion size is large just like grandma's house. Great made from scratch dishes. For me nothing better than Authentic Italian cuisine and you guys nailed it. So if that's what you're looking for Nonna Lucia bluffton is the place to go. Again fantastic job.

Went last night and when ordering, was told they have no oven so we might want to order something which is not baked. Ran out of several menu items which I also have read from other reviews. Was hesitant to go due to reviews but went any ways with an open mind. My dinner was ok. Pasta and entrée were hot but the sauce (which I tasted first was stone cold). I guess the chef figured the heat from the pasta would mask it which it did to some extent but not on the actual entrée. Needless to say, I took most of it home for leftovers and also added some more seasoning as it needed garlic or something for flavor. Disappointing given the $19.00-$21.00/entrée price tag. Waitress not working efficiently and it was not a busy night (probably due to no oven or the rainy weather). I'd be willing to give it another shot. My husband said no way and it has cured him from going out to eat for a while.... Have had better meals at other Italian places in Bluffton. :(

Been here twice...both times all I wanted was Manicotti. Sadly, each time I went they were apparently out. IF YOU CAN'T MAKE IT DO NOT OFFER IT!

Visited from San Diego my parents have dined here in the past and talked it up. Well great talk we all dined there last night and yummy . From the calamari fritti , to the mussels special 'Mare e Monte ' and the veal Picatta our pallets were more then satisfied. The staff was very accommodating and the owner Michelle served my dad a birthday desert of his choice a delicious cannoli . We will be back and pass the flavors forward.

Wanted to try a new restaurant--big mistake!! Food was horrible, service was slow and owner's attitude was terrible --beyond belief!! We totally felt undervalued as customers. The food was not edible yet we were told we ordered wrong...What?? If you have to mask your food under a greasy sauce--look out! Of course, don't apologize as the owner but accuse the customer of being wrong! Be aware--don't let this be a restaurant you try! Did I mention the bathroom was so dirty, I had to turn around at the door?

Worst restaurant in Blufton/Hilton Head, I dine out 3/4 times a week wait staff had a terrible attitude, 20 minute wait for a greeting and a glass of water. Michelle(owner)promised they would have glutton free options but they were out of glutton free pasta. Veal parm was overcooked and shrimp was tasteless. I have tried this restaurant 3 times this year and the only time it was good was when the owners were there.

Don't go. The food was tasteless, it tasted bland n felt like the chef really did not how to season properly. Staff was nice young gal, but personality for a waitress was too shy. Disappointing
