This thrift shop is listed on Google Maps as a "furniture showcase," which is about as accurate as Google's insistence on publishing my personal phone number as someone else's business line for the last 5 years (and good luck trying to get them to correct that). But, as the saying goes, I digress. This thrift shop is very large, and has far more clothing and houseware items than furniture. The clothing prices are a bit higher than other thrifts (a few doors away, another thrift shop had a bin of quality t-shirts priced at three for $1, while Off Island's individual t-shirts were $4); but overall the prices aren't painful (and if you don't like the price, you don't have to buy). There was also a table outside the entrance that offered free items that other shops would have kept price tags on. Complaints in other reviews about management may be dated or motivated by the writers' personal biases or unreasonable expectations (such as not being allowed inside the store when it's scheduled to close in 10 minutes; I'd like to see that complainer at his/her desk at 10 minutes before quitting time to see their enthusiasm at the possibility of having to stay even a minute late.) Overall, a very worthwhile thrift experience.

It's good for thrift shopping, but the policies to help cancer patients is very limited.

This place is very overpriced and they're not very friendly these items are being donated I really wonder how much of the money is actually going to the Cancer fund I don't think I will ever shop here again .I also won't donate to them either it seems a little shady.

and a thrifting you will be… both a knowledgeable and professional staff and of course, a BRILLIANT selection of everything……mind the hands on the wall and don’t be surprised if your family sends for a search and rescue party.

This store has a nice selection and is overall clean and well-kept. I have purchased many items from this store. The three-star rating is due to the prices. The prices are way too high for the items being sold. A used hand towel for the bathroom is $2. I can go to HomeGoods and get a new one for a dollar more. Great selection of items, but prices are high for a "thrift" store. I've been to cheaper antique stores. I will be back, but I will continue to be careful because of the prices.

What a great store!!!! I could have easily spent another hour browsing in here. We got so many treasures for not a lot of money. And their profits go to help cancer patients. Treasures for me, help for others. Win-win.

Drove all the way from Charleston SC to visit this store got stuck in traffic and arrived at 3:50 and went inside to look around . Two old blonde hag looking women rudely tells me they are closed. I pointed out the sign says 4pm and I still should have 10 minutes. She says no we close at 4pm that means we are out the door at 4pm. She had all the lights in the store off before 4pm. She was very very rude to my wife and I. We will not spend our money at this store with service people like that. I shopped here when Ilived here and had a good experience thanks to these old crones We wont spend our money here again.

Rude staff. Was going to drop hundreds if not thousands here. Was informed by the staff that they would not validate my SC state tax exemption. Her explanation was that the store would have to pay the tax themselves. That is not how it works whatsoever. The company I work for is completely exempt from taxes in the state of SC. I decided to leave and not purchase a thing.

A very fun place to spend some time! You never know what you might find.....one man's trash is another man's treasure...says the old adage. It's true. Enjoy.

It's the worst thrift store ever they charge people's too much I found a pair of shoes the price marked was 15 dollars when I want to pay the cashier lady went back and asked I think the owner that told her to charge me 39 dollars that's not a thrift store anymoreSo sad these days we need to be more caring for each other
