I am a 100% disabled veteran and had 2 back teeth that were abscessed and the Clovis VA did nothing at all, not even looked in my mouth. I went to Aspen dental and they gave me a free exam, free panoramic CT, free, panoramic x-ray and told me that I was close to being septic. They contacted another oral surgeon that got me in to have both teeth removed, same day, before I ended up in the hospital with sepsis. This place is amazing.

Worst dental experience of my life. They get you in the door with the “free consultation and X-ray” and then they told me I needed $9,998 worth of work. Stating I needed a root canal on a tooth I recently had done. Wanting to preform 4 more root canals on other teeth. The dentist didn’t answer any of my questions directly. Will never go back. Place feels like a scam.

My first visit was today, 11/27/2023. Everyone was friendly and professional. They answered all of my questions and made sure I understood what was happening. Best dentists around.

I have had so many problems since going here. I have extreme anxiety about the dentist. I sat at this office for an hour waiting for the oral surgeon and was never notified that I had to wait until whenever the surgeon was ready and that it could take hours for that. I ended up rescheduling and then when I called today, they notified me that the surgeon will not take me as a patient because I rescheduled after waiting for an hour for him. My appointment was scheduled at 11:30 and then rescheduled by them for 12 pm. It was nearly 1 o’clock when I rescheduled and my anxiety was skyrocketing while waiting for an unknown time. The service is horrible and I was basically told it was my fault I wasn’t notified because they can’t reach me by phone. I work full time and go to school full time but had been in contact with the office via email and responded to all questions and requests. I was not notified via email about a ridiculous wait time. So now I have to wait for a refund and find a new dentist after using all my insurance benefits at this location due to lack of communication and bad customer service. I advise everyone to look elsewhere.

Was disappointed that I didn't even get my teeth cleaned on first visit! Never was I told what would take place during first visit when i called to set up appointment! I was told work had to be done (over $1500 of work, after insurance) FIRST before any cleaning. I have never went to a dentist that doesn't clean your teeth on first appointment. I understand taking x-rays on first visit, but not getting my teeth cleaned, that's just crazy!!!Also they wanted to charge $135 for an electric toothbrush!!I WILL NOT go back NOR will I recommend Aspen Dental unless they are a Billionaire!!!

Had 3 appointments this morning. I went to the wrong one in a different city, missed my original appointment time but when I came to the correct place I was not treated any differently. I was not rushed. And they were still able to fit me in for my appointment along with both of my kids. They were very thorough and everyone was very friendly and made sure we all were comfortable and knew about the full process. We are new to SC and the transition has been very nice. Thank you to all in the Camden office for being so great at what you do.

They made my daughter feel at ease as she was very apprehensive and embarrassed and they calmed her down and helped make her visit a pleasant one. They also helped get the financing that we needed and they have been very good at getting everything fixed in time for my daughter’s wedding in 2.5 weeks. GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!!

I was pleased with my first visit to Aspen in Camden. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful during my initial consultation. Sarah McLean was particularly helpful in explaining the financial options available to me.

I had my first cleaning and a couple feelings filled at Aspen dental. My cleaning went so well I felt like I got a deep cleaning it was very thorough. When I had my feelings filled I didn't feel a thing and I have super anxiety to needles. I'm glad that I was at ease and that everything went well. The staff is great and attentive.

I always have a good experience at Aspen Dental. The front desk staff is very welcoming and knows you by name, even before you get to the desk. As for Dr. Hemel, she treats her patients with great respect and makes you feel like part of the family.

The worst place for dental work. I had 2 cavities, and I paid for them to fix it, for one cavity to still hurt. They make you pay upfront for their services, but then still send a bill for more money. I literally cannot afford to go back for them to fix the cavity, just to pay again, and the possibility of it to still not be fixed. I'll being going elsewhere for dental work. Also their little ridiculous system for confirming appointments is absolutely insane. So many others have had their appointments canceled, literally because the way they have it all set up. Thanks but no thanks! You've lost my business. I've been with them for about 2 years, and I'm just fed up. I will also make sure when friends/family ask about a dental practice, I will warn them about this place! Their prices are also higher then others around the area! Just don't do it!!!

Awful service. CSR's are unprofessional. I booked an appt 3 weeks in advance and paid as well, only to arrive 10 minutes early ready for my fillings and was told, I didn't confirm the appt and they took it upon themselves to cancel my appt, despite having confirmed AND receiving their email notification reminder which I did not reschedule nor cancel. We'll, they have my money now, so I'm stuck here at Aspen waiting almost 2 hours to be seen and having an appointment that Aspen canceled. The front desk people are rude. Not recommending this Aspen Camden location.

I made appointment for 1:00pm for 6/1 on via the online appointment system two weeks before. On the night before the appointment I received a voicemail saying that they don’t have 1:00 appointments and I must of scheduled it via their call center, which wasn’t the case as I mentioned above, and she continued with a few other things she felt I had done wrong.I called back as soon as I listened to it that evening - no answer, so I left a message to reschedule - surprise! No return call so far 2 weeks later and counting.Sad….

Very pleasant people. Dr. Himel was great. Sarah the Treatment Plan Coordinator was really sweet and did a good job of giving the bad news(how many$)!! Nelayshia worked hard on getting some good x-rays. I will be going back!I, subsequently, was told I need a 'deep cleaning' which is very expensive and not affordable, by me. I told them I just want to get my teeth cleaned. They say they can't do it. No explanation why, but they can't clean my teeth unless I get the expensive 'deep cleaning'. I assume there is a reason, health wise, for this, but I never got it. Now I won't go back.

Arrived at 730 promptly but staff too busy talking in break room to attend until 745. I told scheduler I wanted a cleaning. Instead I got a ton of X-rays and exam. I did, however, like the Dr. Baker very much and will return next month for periodontal treatment and measure for partial.
