“Camden Has been a life saver ! Literally !! My 18 week old 6 lb puppy was hit by a car and broken several bones and damaged her chest, we went to CVets which was closer (we live in Columbia) they had casted it for us but due to price concerns we couldn’t continue going there by a friends recommendation I transferred all records here. I came in 4 days after as a walk in and requested check up and voiced my concerns with her breathing, they redid X-rays on everything for me even her broken leg. Her chest graphs were sent to a radiologist as they had feared the worst, she ended up having a diaphragmatic hernia. Meaning her organs were all in her chest. After the results we were in the next day for an immediate surgery. They discussed how the odds were not in her favor and even recommended a specialist but yet again due to price concerns I could not afford the 6K+ surgery at a specialist. They were so honest and upfront about everything that I personally felt that they were what was best for her and I’d much rather them try than just put her down even knowing the odds weren’t good so that’s what they did! With them my girl beat all odds, it’s one month post opp and my girl is the perfect , with the weekly visits in between her cast came off and as of today she is cleared for normal activities!I drive 45 minutes just to go there now. The vets, Dr.Matt and Dr. Yarborough are phenomenal, they truly do care and that makes the long wait times all the more worth it. Thank you Camden Vet staff as well for helping save my baby girls life ?”
