I recently stayed at the Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Cayce I-26 Airport during a trip to Columbia, SC, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and value this hotel offers.
Location:
 The hotel's location is excellent—just off I-26 and only about 3 miles from Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE). It's also conveniently close to Fort Jackson, making it ideal for travelers and military families.
Room Quality: 
My room was clean and well-maintained, featuring modern amenities like a flat-screen TV, microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. The absence of carpet was a plus for me, as it gave the room a fresher feel. The bed was comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was excellent.
Amenities:
 The hotel offers a seasonal outdoor pool, which I didn't have time to use but looked inviting. There's also free high-speed Wi-Fi and free parking, which was convenient for me.
Breakfast:
 The complimentary continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise. It included hot items like egg patties and biscuits and gravy, along with cereals, muffins, and fruit. It was a great way to start the day without having to leave the hotel.
Staff and Service:
 The staff were friendly and accommodating. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and they were helpful with any questions I had.
Overall Experience:
 For the price, this hotel offers great value. It's clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. Whether you're flying in or just passing through, I highly recommend the Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Cayce I-26 Airport for a hassle-free stay.”

“My husband and I recently stayed at Masters Inn in Cayce SC. It was a fair price for the area. The rooms were clean and neat. The office manager was amazing and really came through for a family needing 3 rooms for a few weeks. Atlanta you are truly my hero. After a house fire one would be absolutely misplaced but you and your wonderful house keeping staff took VERY good care of all 6 of us and our 7 service dogs.
Huge thanks to you and your entire house keeping staff.

“Polite and professional staff that was very accommodating to us as Helene refugees. Clean, well appointed room with plenty of space and comfortable bed. In room coffee is surprisingly good and more brewed available in the lobby. If we need a place to stay in Columbia, this will be the first place we call.”

“I liked the trundle but it had a few issues I couldn't forget. First, the elevator wasn't working so we had to walk up the stairs in rain with ouylr bags. The parking was a little confusing and there was someone in our spot.The refrigerator was leaking in our room. The floor creaked when we walked. I will give it another try since we stayed on one of the off site properties.”

“I stayed here while visiting friends that recently relocated to the area from NJ. The room was very clean, breakfast was delicious and the staff was courteous and helpful. “I was visiting a friend at Fort Jackson and found this place and saw that it had good reviews, and it lived up to its rating. The staff was very helpful and the room was very clean and spacious. The elevator was definitely a life saver as I was on a higher floor, it was also very well lit at night.

“Although they serve breakfast everyday. There's no bar or restaurant for room service or dinner. The good thing is that there are several restaurants around the hotel that you can even walk to. Plus, the staff was very friendly.”

“Pillows and bed were super comfortable. Nice older building that reminds me of being at grandma's house. Cozy and unique. Can take elevator to Starbucks, don't even have to leave the building. “We just stayed in the Rivers suite. The entire inn is so beautiful and clean! The sheets smelled amazing. The bathrooms spotless. The housekeeper was so sweet and super accommodating. The owner was very sweet and helpful in finding us a parking solution to the football game. Would stay here again hands down!”

“I made a reservation through Booking.com, and when I arrived at 3:20 am, they simply wouldn't let me in because they said check-in was only allowed until 2 am. I requested a refund from Booking.com, and they said it wasn't possible. To top it all off, I had to make another reservation because I was already very tired from driving with my family for 10 hours, and when I arrived at the room, there were no bath towels and the toilet had no water Terrible hotel... I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.”

“The hotel itself is kinda off of a side road, you will likely need GPS to make sure you don't miss it. Overall it was a pleasant stay. It was quiet, comfortable, and we paid a little more for a 2 person jacuzzi tub which was absolutely worth it and worked great.”

“Excellent hotel. We used our Bonvoy points to pay for the stay! It has comfy beds with nice indoor pool and gym and to top it off, an excellent breakfast that is included in the price! To top off a great stay, Shirley, the breakfast attendant was wonderful! She cares about her job and greets every guest with a warm smile and makes sure the breakfast food is kept warm and well stocked. She made our stay even better! Thank you Shirley!”

“Jalise Janet and Timothy were so kind and friendly. All in all great experience. Breakfast was always delicious and plenty of options. The place could defiantly use some updating you can tell it was build in the 90s but it is a very nice hotel. Was there on a business trip. We were in one of the conference rooms. The provided lunch was delicious both days. The cookies and brownies were warm and yummy. The happy hour with 2 free drinks were a nice end to each day. Easy to get around. The location is close to many great restaurants and activities. Worth the visit.”

“It was our 1st time staying here and we were happy. Charles at the front desk was AWESOME!! Our child had to be at football camp at USC at 7am and thats when breakfast started at the hotel. Charles made him a breakfast bag the night before so he could eat before training camp that morning. ( He made my sons morning). He also was very knowledgeable with the surrounding areas with restaurants and places to go, he had great recommendations!! Thank you Charles, you did AWESOME!!

Now for the other part, the rooms were nice and clean the entire facility was. The breakfast was great except for having to wait for fresh hot food to come out just for clarity (IT WAS NOT THE LADY COOKING IN THE KITCHENS FAULT) she was by herself ( which is fine) the issue was with a guest. When we came down the guest literally had 6 PLATES full of food a full plate of like 20 sausages, full plate of EGGS, a bowl of 4 cinnamon rolls ( you get the point) there were alot of other people there waiting to eat. This guest literally was watching as every time the lady in the kitchen replenished the food she went to get even more plates. She literally did this 5 times this morning and people had to wait. My husband was like I've never seen a woman or anyone eat that much for breakfast not even a man.

I felt horrible for this lady in the kitchen, the guest didn't care about anyone else but herself and I'm sure it's all you can eat but good lord be respectful of others as they pay money to stay there as well.

As we went back to our room to get our things when we came back down to check out, breakfast was over, it was about 10:15 I think and the lady that was in the kitchen was sitting there taking a much needed break. I walked over to her and said I know your tired but just know you did AWESOME being 1 person and handling all that extra cooking by yourself since someone was being extremely selfish and rude. She said thank you. I told her she handled herself with grace and I said THANK VERY MUCH and have a good day. She said thank you.

As we were walking to the car my son's girlfriend said when you walked away she started crying. I said what? She said I think it was tears of tiredness and joy. She was by herself and chances of someone saying Thank you may not happen often and a nice gesture you showed her, she may have appreciated more then we would think

So to the lady who was by herself and handling everything in the kitchen this morning, just know you did a WONDERFUL JOB!!!!

“If you want an affordable no frills private studio apartment this place works. The staff were all so kind and honest. It was very very close to base. The fridge was new and spacious. Grocery stores are walking distance. Free internet worked great for my zoom calls. There are long stay elders in the facility and they were also inclusive. Avoid doing laundry on the weekends - get soap at the dollar store for the machines its close by. Purchase instant coffee because there is not coffee service or maker. (If there had been I'd have give then 11 stars). Clean lots of lighting options.”

Rick took great care of us and helped me find a reasonable room for my wife and kids, because everything else was all booked up. He was patient and answered all the questions I needed too. “Clarion Inn Columbia Airport Location is an amazing hotel. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean. This location has a wonderful complimentary breakfast, and wifi service. Security level is on point with cameras on every corner of the buildings. All staff is willing to help no matter what the need may be. The vending machines at the front office always has snacks and beverages. Thank You Columbia Airport Location for such a great experience in the time of our disaster!
