Some of the absolute dumbest girls I’ve ever spoken to at the desk, absolutely ignorant that I had to walk out because I just couldn’t handle the ignorance anymore so I tried to call back and speak to a manager, and some young boy refused to give me a manager. I believe his name was Trevor and said he was not giving me anybody until I tell him why I wanted to talk to a manager what kind of customer service is that and hear my wife and I have been members for two years

I’m a truck driver, so, I travel & exercise at numerous Planet Fitness’s across North America. This Cayce, South Carolina location is top notch. I ain’t nothing bad to say about it. Very clean, nice staff and beautiful people.

Convenient location but don't enforce their own policies. Mentioning anything to staff is met with staff telling me I must not be nice enough. I would rather drive an extra 15 min then have to deal with all the jerks who come workout here. I can't even get a workout in unless I only want to do cardio. At this point, I will be changing my membership to a different home location.

Update: canceling your membership does not stop them from charging your bank account for membership fees, even worse than I thought. Employees are no help with this issue.Wait times are too long for machines I want to use and you cannot cancel your membership without coming to the physical store. I already know I'll get the run around when I try that.I don't need more problems and inconvenience in my life. You should either be able to come in and get a workout or be able to cancel the service.

Went to sign my 17 year up for a gym membership at this location going by the $1 down promotion that ends 02/15 that also allows a parent to sign a waiver on behalf of their child who is under 18. Not only did the manager have an unwelcoming demeanor and a condescending attitude by telling me I should "let him fill it out" in the process of me starting the application which I let her know that I will fill it out , she also does not know how to do her job neither does the other guy I originally spoke with. The only one who remotely had any sort of professionalism or a positive attitude was a guy with red hair(do not know his name). The manager told me that because my 16 year old wanted to work out with his brother I would have to purchase a separate membership for him because a 17 year old could only have a classic membership not a black card membership. It seemed like she was just trying to be confrontational for no reason maybe it was the headband on her head idk. Anyway, I contacted a different location who then assisted me and signed my 17 year old up with my signed waiver for a black card membership so he can bring a friend without having to purchase a separate membership for my other child. It shouldn't be that hard to get a gym membership but this manager at this location apparently needs to be retrained on how it works and how to interact with people. Matter of fact I don't know why the guy with the red hair isn't the manager because he was the only one who knew what the promotion was. I will never go back to this location all because of this experience and the managers attitude. I'm just glad she walked away when she did because otherwise we would have had words.

This location is very busy and isn't big enough to accommodate all the people coming in. Too many people using machines and not cleaning up but just walking away onto the next machine to dirty up. Staff was not on the floor any in the two hours I was there. I counted five people behind the check in desk. Locker room was dirty and toilet area was in dire need of cleaning. There is clearing not enough Black room accomodations, i.e, tanning beds and Hydro massage machines. This location is too small for the amount of traffic. More attention is needed by the staff as far as cleaning the facility throughout and being present on the floor.

Recently became a member at this gym, this is my third time at this location and I have yet to be greeted by what looks like the gym manager. I feel the staff needs a touch-up on guest relations, A welcoming hello does change your experience at a place of business. I would like to give them more stars because the gem does keep itself clean but the experience at the front desk has changed my attitude toward the staff at the gym.
