Convenient and easy - just wish longer hours and rent didnt increase steadily to the point of unaffordabilty. Personally no issues, but my friends are getting priced out. Long time loyal customers should get a locked in rate, dont ya think?

I was very happy with the Public Storage location in Knox Abbott Drive in Cayce, SC.
The unit was clean and ready to go when we got there.
I like that this location is all one level.
This location is fenced in with a coded gate and an on-site manager. I felt that our belongings were safe and secure.
The app makes it super easy to get in and out of the gate.
When I had a question about moving out, I was able to get the answer and assistance I needed.
I highly recommend this particular location. It is very convenient to UofSC. There is one closer to the campus, but that one isn't fenced and is multi-storey.
Just a note, when you move out, be sure to do it before the 1st of the month. The price is not prorated for used/unused days. That is a corporate policy, and the individual locations can't adjust for you.

So I got the unit paid for it in full then they took out another like 40$ for some odd reason and I ended up having to pay more rent two weeks later. That was the first red flag. The person I spoke to told me that my rent would NOT increase for at least a year..well comes three months later and they in crease my storage for the smallest unit from 91.00 to 127.00$. While I know it isn’t a lot of money the sudden rent increase is ridiculous! The customer service was rude. I will be going elsewhere where for my storage needs. I suggest you do the same. My belongings were covered in spiders and webs and dust while being there for only 5 months.

I am extremely disappointed; today I received a notification of termination with my storage unit. Which ultimately I knew was not right. After an hour of trying to get ahold of someone we were informed that the previous tenant “forgot” he vacated our now storage unit and had an employee cut our lock, just for him to realize it wasn’t his?. So they put a new lock on that neither my husband or myself have access to because of someone else’s decision. Some stranger was able to fully access my storage unit with the help of an employee. Who knows if they took anything. I’m hours away, because we are military, our entire lives are in that storage unit and now I have ZERO access to it!!! I thought this would be a secure place considering all the cameras and gates! It is NOT. I am devastated.

I recently called Public Storage with a ton of questions for a relative of mine who is considering relocating to Cayce SC. A young lady by the name of Jovett was so helpful and patient answering all the questions that I had! She gave excellent customer service and I am definitely recommending this storage facility to my relative! 😊

From the moment I walked in, Denise was attentive, friendly, and incredibly helpful. She took the time to understand needs and provided detailed information. Her professionalism and positive attitude made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Kudos to Denise for his outstanding service—she truly made my experience at Public Storage a great one!
