“I want to tell you about how wonderful it is to have no service but no service in a good way. I knew something was going wrong with my transmission, but I wasn't sure what. I had a friend look at it, but he told me it was beyond what he could do, and I needed to take it to a transmission service shop. I was worried to death that my little car wasn't going to make it through this. I brought it to dun- right transmission service on broad River Road. David was welcoming, helpful, made me feel comfortable. No matter what the outcome was going to be and this is where we get to the no service. He called me to let me know that my worst fears were true and that my car unfortunately, was not repairable, not at a cost that made sense with how little my car is valued at. Now he could have easily upsold me many things. I wouldn't have known the difference and would have prayed that they all worked to fix my car. But knowing that they wouldn't, this man, unlike a lot of people out there these days took the time to call me and say, look, this is not worth your money and I'm not going to charge you, knowing I can't do anything to help. That is how you do it, that is how you keep customers coming back and from now on anything, I have that he can work on it will be coming here so if you want someone that's going to be honest with you, not take your money and give you a bunch of services, you don't need this is where you need to come speak to David. He'll be happy to help you and you know that he'll be honest about the information he gives you on your car.”

“I took two vehicles to Jeffcoats Garage. In South Congaree. They are very detailed oriented. Communication was excellent. Their work was solid and they take the time to really check the vehicle over to make sure that they check out the full vehicle for potential issues. My son needed two tires on the front in addition to the work completed. He wanted us to know that so he would be safe.,A detail we had clearly missed. They go above and beyond in their customer service. Their quality of work is excellent. Prices are very reasonable. Honest, Integrity, Professional and very Knowledgeable about their business. I will use them again for any future repairs. They are Gold Stsr standard. In Diagnosis, repair and return of my vehicles, which were all completed in a very quick and efficient manner.. If you need a good, honest and professional mechanic, this is the team you want working on your vehicle.”

“Doc and his crew were my Christmas miracle. I was traveling on a long road trip and about 1/2 way through my car ran out of oil due to an oil pump leak. I was so lucky to find Doc's garage. They spent the day finding parts and even making a custom gasket in order to get me back on the road in time to make my Christmas travel plans. What could have easily ruined my Christmas turned into a highlight of my trip when they fixed my car, and even added on a needed timing belt, saving me hundreds in the long run. I felt like my car was being fixed in Santa's workshop. They charged a very reasonable, almost generous price. I couldn't have asked for better luck. Thank you so much to everyone at Doc's Auto repair. Lexington, NC is lucky to have such a great shop! They even got me lunch since I was stranded in their shop for over 6 hours!! “I have a 99' Ford Explorer that needed an overhaul, after 20+ years of use it stopped being able to go into reverse. I took it to a different place and they gave me an estimate of over 8000 for a reman transmission and I was not going to put that much money into a 20+ year old truck. I was pleasantly surprised when I called and asked for the cost of an overhaul and they quoted me $2800. I also asked them to do a compression test on the engine as I didn't want to overhaul a transmission on a truck with a bad engine and I do feel maybe in the process of doing that test things got knocked out of proper function. BUT I left the truck with them because I had enough trust that they would fix the issue which in the automotive field (I work at Goodyear) is one of the hardest attributes to find in a shop! Businesses like this one are the reason the rest of us have work at our shops and at the end of the day we run because they exist, when being so instrumental in the automotive field they could easily do wrong by customers but the honesty they put forth is refreshing and so necessary in this day and age.”

“Recently my wife and I were on our way out of town and my truck battery started acting up and we got off the interstate in the Columbia area and looked for a service shop. We found Shealy quickly with great 5 star reviews. I understand why as what we experienced was nothing short of exceptional customer service. We pulled in and Drew greeted me immediately and within a few seconds we had the hood up and he was performing some tests on my battery and charging system. He went the extra mile also to call a local parts shop just down the road to make sure they had a battery ready for me and let them know I was on my way. I can't thank Drew enough for his kind help to get us back on the road. You just don't find folks like that very often. If I lived in the Columbia area I'd be taking all my vehicles to Shealy. Highly recommended.”
