A massive water leak happened at my friend’s office park. She is a stroke survivor and I try my best to help her when I can.Servepro was called and upon arrival, I kindly showed one guy the damages and also requested to steam clean the flooded carpet. I then noticed him measuring a room with no water damage. I asked him why was he measuring the room, he then rudely said that I wanted ALL the rooms cleaned. When I nicely corrected him and said, we don't want that room done he THEN said that he was charging for the WHOLE room to have water extraction. I was shocked because there was only a few inches of water seepage under the door frame, I then made a comment that I thought it was unfair to charge for the whole room. He went into a rant, saying that he was doing what his company tells him to do, he was getting so visibly upset that I gently touched his shoulder and said, hey buddy its okay, I understand, and I walked away. Minutes later this irrational person began saying very forcibly to the other guy who was working nonstop, that he better be finished in 15 minutes, after he said it 2 more times, I finally said, are you not supposed to stay until the job is done? That is when this guy became unhinged and started screaming at me, that I was trying to physically assault him, I was totally shocked because I was at least 10 feet away. He began getting louder and screamed you physically assaulted me when you touched my shoulder earlier. He continued acting like he was on hallucinogenic drugs; he was saying things that were not happening and acting extremely paranoid, as I began trying to defend myself verbally, he got more hysterical and said more lies to cause drama. When my friend’s son entered the room he panicked and asked me to leave the job even though he was not there to hear any of the interactions. When the lying Servpro employee saw that his act was working, he smirked at me behind her son’s back. When she went into the building to inspect the job the next day she found several fans not working and they were recommending that they remove a large bathroom vanity because it had water trapped underneath it, which would have cost a few thousand dollars to replace. When she called me about it, I knew they were trying to do unnecessary repairs for extra money, so I said to remove the bottom board under the vanity and have a fan placed there to dry it out, and it totally solved the moisture problem. Why did they not do this simple procedure to begin with? Read the other 1 star review on this company by Don Anderson. When I called the national Servepro customer service line I was told that they do not get involved with disputes between customers and their franchisee. In other words, they only collect royalties and totally abandon the customer when things go wrong.I then called the franchisee’s office and asked to speak with the owner, as to give him a chance to make this right before I write an online review. I was told Chris Cromer was very busy and was out of town. Mr. Cromer then called the owner of the company days later and she told him that she had verified with several witnesses the events that took place and they confirmed my account was very accurate and that his employee was acting hysterical, paranoid and over exaggerating everything. In fact the plumber that showed up to fix the pipe has never worked for her before this incident, he said that in all the years that he has been on job sites that he has never seen such a display of unprofessional behavior like he had seen that day. My friend then requested that Chris Cromer call me because I was the one that was offended the most.My friend has suffered from debilitating vertigo symptoms caused by all the stress their ignorant, lying employee caused that day. It was so serious that she had to go to the doctor. We all MUST boycott companies who operate this way by hiring terrible employees. So if you want to be harassed, falsely accused, ripped off and ignored by someone with very little integrity then call Chris Cromer at Servepro of the Dutch Fork.Service:&nb

After living in our home for 45 years, our home burned on December24, 2021. It was devastating to say the least. After the initial shock and not really believing it was true, our next dilemma was what to do and where do we start. Luckily Chris Cromer of Servpro of The Dutch Fork to the rescue. Helping guide us in rebuilding our home and our lives. Chris and his crew were amazing when they showed up in their green trucks and started the cleanup and packing of our belongings that were salvageable. Every step of the way we felt comfort in the caring manner that was shown to us.The cleaning of our belongings was as good as it could be. Very satisfied with Servpro of The Dutch Fork! I now have my “nest” and comfort back . This has been quite a journey but the road ahead is smoother than we could have ever imagined!!Thank you Chris, Monica and the whole Servpro crew!!!Service: Fire damage cleanup & repair

We were put in an unfortunate situation with fire damage making our house unlivable. Julie, Monica and the entire Servpro team were extremely professional, helpful and very detail oriented to make the experience much better. They were open about the timeline we were facing, a detailed outline of what work needed to be done and provided consistent updates with explanations to help us get through the situation we had found ourselves in. I would highly recommend them if you want a professional and thorough job.Service: Fire damage cleanup & repair

Servpro did an excellent job of restoring my crawl space after a hot water pipe leak. The floor joists and subfloor were cleaned of mold and made ready for new insulation to be installed. Not only was I impressed but so was the company that installed the insulation. Servpro was thorough and very professional.

Unbelievable. I see that these guys have great reviews so I hate to give a bad one, because I don't ever give a bad review unless it is warranted. We had a water leak that caused some damage to our basement and immediately called a plumber to repair (water was coming through the ceiling). We then called our insurance company who recommended that we call a restoration company, so we did. We had a previous issue that Servpro (not this location) helped us with in the past and had no issues whatsoever. They sent out two nice guys who accessed the situation, realized it wasn't much to clean but thought it would be a good idea to run a fan and humidifier in the bathroom that had the leak. while down there, we noticed that another pipe had a crack in it and had a slow drip. The plumber was coming back later that day to repair, but some reason they thought it needed a fan and humidifier in there (for a slow drip that was landing in a bucket). Not sure what this accomplished? They were supposed to come back the next day and pick up the equipment, except we found on the invoice that someone came to "monitor" the units instead, even though we never saw anyone. There was a bad storm on Friday and they claimed they didn't have any available techs to come get the units until Saturday morning. The only issue is, is that we were going out of town, so they had to come at 7:45 in the morning to get them, which they did.At this point, Servpro has spent a total of 45 minutes dropping off and picking up these units that should have been here for 1 day (now here 3 days). We asked for the quote to repair the damage downstairs and never received it. Since we were going to be out of town, we didn't have Servpro come back to clean up anything. We did it ourselves. We then find out that the damage wasn't worth making an insurance claim, so we had Servpro send us the bill directly and I could not believe that the bill was so over-inflated that is seemed like insurance fraud. They had a list of things that were supposedly performed, that definitely were not and tried charging us for them. Again, they were here for a total of 45 minutes on the 2 trips, yet they charged us for 4.5 hours plus 1.5 for another item (what?). They charged us $82 for spraying antimicrobial agents, but that never happened as we were with them the whole time, plus why would you spray around a bucket that is catching a drip? Then they charged us $208 for "clean floor heavy", that they didn't actually clean (we did). They charged us 1.5 hours for "content manipulation", but they didn't have to move anything at all.I called and spoke with someone about adjusting my bill since we were going to try and cancel the insurance claim and handle it ourself, but they said the owners wife would have to call me later. Instead, the owner himself, Chris Cromer gave me a call and seemed fairly professional at first, but when I started questioning his charges he seemed to get a little defensive. He was able to remove many of the charges (as they were never performed and FRAUDULENT!), however there was still a question as to how he can charge me 4.5 hours and 1.5 hours when they were there a total of 45 minutes between both visits, so I asked him to get that adjusted and his reply was "we charge the industry standard". So apparently the "industry standard" is to overinflate your labor hours by 500%. If this is legal, then it's no wonder we pay so much for insurance as insurance companies are paying these claims out blindly, which is what would have happened here if I hadn't gotten the bill.Today, 5-18-22 we received an email stating that we had an outstanding balance and have been avoiding phone calls, emails, and certified mail (which is all untrue) and that if the bill isn't paid within 5 days, they will get a judgement and place a lien on our property..... We literally got the final invoice a few days ago and they are already talking about placing liens? They seems awfully aggressive for a compa

This past New Year's eve, there was a sewer backup in my downstairs bathroom that flooded the entire downstairs, even out into the garage! I was horrified and went straight to my insurance agent! She called ServPro of Dutch Fork and they were there that very day. From the first day of clean up until the day they finished, I was amazed at their professionalism. Floors were ripped up and some walls were cut out. It was a big deal. Through it all, Cary, Julie, Chris, Scott, Christian, Malik (and others) were kind, patient, understanding, and professional. I would even say they became our friends. We truly enjoyed their presence in all of the misfortunes so far this year. Thank you ServPro for giving me my life back! Being stuck inside is easier now!

We have used Servpro for many years. During the last carpet cleaning, a stain appeared after the crew left. Initially, we thought the crew has made a spill prior to their departure. Servpro came back the next morning (rearranging their schedule) and began working on that stain. We discovered that as long as the carpet is wet, the stain disappeared. After their third visit, we finally came to the conclusion that it is no fault of Servpro, but something is sitting under the surface of the carpet that got drawn up to the surface when cleaned. Servpro tried yet a different method and was finally successful. Chris, the manager, personally led the crew to come out to the house several times. Their commitment to customer service is beyond their call to duty. They are a rare find these days. Please use their service and honor Servpro for delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction. We want to see companies like this be successful.Service: Flooring

If you take a stab in the dark to find a carpet/rug cleaning business and have no idea of a good company with integrity and a good reputation, you may be feeling at a loss. Having used SERVPRO myself, I can alleviate your worry. They're a family owned franchise that has exemplary customer service, responding quickly to my request. I had a nail polish stain on my rug and received it back the very next day! The stain was gone and the rug looked brand new. Their work is efficient, they maintain a high level of professionalism and are definitely a trustworthy company.

I like that Servpro came out to my home and was able to advise me on what steps to take to dry the water from my floor that would be less of a cost to me. I really appreciate the company honest and advise. I definitely would recommend Servpro to my friends and neighbors.
