What can I say about this place, it was one of the best restaurants I've been too. Charleston you got it right with this one! The food and service was 10/10 not to mention the waiter Greg was the truth! I will visit here every time I'm in Charleston.

She crab soup and fried green tomatoes were good, not great. Crab cakes were good, duck was very good.Service and ambiance were excellent.Prices are a bit high, but portions are generous.

Had a great dinner, our waitress at Husk referred us to 82 Queen when she wasn’t able to seat us in a reasonable time (over 2 hours). The She Crab Soup was fantastic! We’ll be backParking: Parking all over Charleston is difficult to find and very expensive…one lot was $10 an hour. Close to $100 in one day?

Highly disappointed in this meal particularly for the price we paid. Honestly, even if we had paid half the amount that we did, we would have been disappointed and would not return. The good: lovely restaurant and atmosphere and excellent service and hospitality. The back courtyard (although we did not eat there was lovely. We had an excellent cocktail: the berry mojito was refreshing and tasty.Unfortunately, one comes to a restaurant for the food, and this is where 82 Queen fails. First bite of everything was positive and hopeful...but after about 3 bites we both realized that most of the flavor was salt, and by the 4th and 5th bite all we could taste was salt. One dimensional and not in a good way. My husband ordered the she crab soup and the jumbalaya. He said ( in addition to the saltiness) that they both had the same flavor - as if it had come from powder in a packet. The jumbalaya was dry. I ordered the braised beef, which had potential. Lovely presentation and the soft texture of the meat was on point. However, there was not enough sauce to balance the meat, which was dry on the inside--and that sauce was too salty in any case! The mashed potatoes were bland. Only the haricots verts I fully enjoyed. Crisp, light and flavorful.Overall, not recommended, except for an afternoon cocktail. To splurge on a highly rated and reviewed restaurant where entrees are over $40 and finding the food this bad was the low point of our Charleston trip.

The restaurant is a very attractive space but we were disappointed in the food. This is another restaurant that shuttles you to the bar to wait even though many tables were open. I've ordered hundreds of gin and tonics in restaurants all over the world but the one I had there was the absolute worst. The tonic was flat as the bar and it had a nasty aftertaste. The food was good but honestly nothing special. This was our fancy meal in Charleston and it did not live up to expectations and the ratings that this restaurant has gotten.

Make reservations in advance. As a couple, we fortunate to be seated at a table in the bar area for an early supper at 4:30 without reservations. A soft shell crab special and the Gumbo were outstanding. The waitress (forgive my forgetting her name) and the college student food runner were exceptional.

WOW. Amazing!! Best brunch in downtown charleston. Their lunch and dinner menu is also fantastic. My server was Katie and she was very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. The manager Mike was also very attentive. Great restaurant, will always continue to come here!

This our first trip to Charleston and we wanted to go to a great restaurant to celebrate both my wife and mine birthday. Our host at the B&B recommended 82 Queen. From the moment we walked in we knew this was the place to go. We were seated in the courtyard, this is not your average courtyard it is beautiful and intimate. Our sever was excellent (unfortunately I don't remember her name). She was very knowledgeable about the menu and funny. The shrimp and grits were fantastic (that's saying a lot since we are from the north and never had Southern grits). I had the Braised Short Ribs, they were so tender and delicious. We could have not asked for a better restaurant to celebrate our birthday's. If you want great food along with excellent service you need to go there.

Our experience here was awesome, we came with our 2 pups at sat outside. The food and cocktails were both sooo good. Our server was Whit, he had excellent recommendations and knowledge about the menu. He was also really funny and made us feel so welcome. I’ll be dreaming about that jambalaya for weeks now.

We had a walk-in lunch on a Thursday. Beautiful setting. Solicitous service. The she crab soup was awful - pasty, salty & over powered by the bacon. I couldn't even taste crab.
