If you’re looking for custom framing, picture framing, and a local frame shop in Charleston, Mt. Pleasant area I highly recommend Diane on Daniel Island @ Island Expressions. With 30+ years of experience, she has an exceptional eye for custom frame design and matting, always making sure the artwork—not the frame—is the centerpiece.
She listens to what you want, including my preference for double matting, and never pushes you toward something you don’t like. The quality and customer service are excellent, pricing is very fair, and my artwork was beautifully finished in just a couple of weeks. First timers get a 10% discount which is not offered at Haven’s.
I found her pricing much more reasonable than Haven’s in Mt. Pleasant and I also experienced Haven’s service more centered on the frame and not the art. Well worth the drive to Daniel Island for professional, affordable custom framing!”

“The RLS Art Gallery was on my bucket list of places to see in Charleston. We stopped by and we're greeted by Madeleine, the Gallery Director, who was so welcoming. It was a first experience in an art gallery for my kids and they all loved it (the swing was their favorite spot). I liked the way the gallery is designed to make you feel welcomed. It showcases a wide range of talented contemporary artists. The icing on the cake was getting a free print to bring back home.”
