Exceptional! My advisor Hugh was great to work with, he kept me in the loop the entire time, took care of dealing with the insurance company and even delivered my vehicle when complete. Made repairing my Range Rover simple after being rear ended. Highly recommend.

1 Star is way to high for this poor excuse for a company. I wish I read this reviews before taking my car in. It's been 2 months and I still don't have an appointment to take my car in. Any progress at all with getting them to do anything is the result of multiple calls/emails on my part. My insurance company has paid them but it's been 2 weeks and a dozen unreturned calls about taking my car in to get fixed.

Advisor Henry Bettke guided us on the damaged 2024 Porsche. In the end the vehicle was a total loss from a damaged frame. We spoke to other local body shops none have the expertise that Bakeroffers. Best Collison repair in Charleston area.

This place is horrible….!!!! Please do not take your car to be service by their Body Shop. Mr Young; general manager along with David vowel, manager of body shop and the entire team was unprofessional. Integrity is definitely a characteristic they lack. After taking my car to them to complete body work paint began to corrode to the area they remedied. Before Taking it back to them, I got an opinion from two body shops that conveyed Bakers Motor did not prep correctly therefore I return to get work redone.
Misrepresentation on every level. I would never recommend you to take your car there for service, body collision work neither purchase from this place. The management is incompetent! Customer Service? A total joke! Save yourself time, energy, and aggravation by going somewhere else I should’ve looked at the reviews before taking my car in.
Never again will they have the Opportunity to work on any vehicle of mine again. I would recommend the owner to get a whole new crew of management. The general manager, Mr. Young, on numerous occasions, told me that he was going to remedy the situation after many calls for several days , he has still not returned my call. I must’ve left about seven or eight messages. Needless to say, I have taken the car somewhere else.
If I could’ve given a zero rating, I would have They don’t even deserve the one star rating. Remember, I warned you. But don’t just take my word look at their reviews.
Oh, I also forget to tell you the representative when reviewing my invoice made claims there was an unpaid balance in which the insurance company paid them over $6000 to complete job. Keep in mind, the manager in the department had to correct him. The worse experience ever!!!!

THE ABSOLUTE WORST! Accident Jan 26, 2024. Finally got an appoint to have evaluated in April. August 12,2024, I took in the car for repair. Here is it October 2, 2024. Baker initial quote for repair on 2011 Jag was roughly $4,300. They submitted another “finding of additional damage “of $5,500. Insurance sent the funding for the first estimate. I would have to come out of pocket for the difference. Cool - I wanted my car fixed. So, I was willing to pay the $1,500. Why didn’t they FIND all the last damage from the initial estimate!! They submitted another estimate for $8,500. My insurance totaled my car out because of that! It was a fender bender. Driver side back bumper.The car run perfectly. Baker is a SCAM - a FRAUD - PRICE GOUGING!! There is no way this is almost $10,000 worth of damage. Oh, I asked them to put the car back together, Henry said for a fee of $5,856.61!!

They told me to bring my car in and kept it for a full month, and Rob lied to me about the reasons it was taking so long. I finally found out it was because they were trying to overcharge the insurance co. Took my car to Fender Mender and getting it back in a week! Will never go there again!

Worst experience. I only went Becuase I wanted to use the certified landrover repair center but wow! I have had the unfortunate opportunity of visiting there 3-4 times. I went a couple of years back and was helped by Hal. I couldn’t imagine a worse customer service experience. He never called back when he said he would. I used up all of my car rental budget allotted from my insurance and my car just sat on the lot not being fixed. Hal always said he was going to give me updates and never called. I had to call and ask about the parts, and came to find out they had arrived the weeks prior but were just sitting there and Hal didn’t even know. Once they finally fixed it I had to bring the car back twice Becuase they did a poor paint job that was obviously different from the original color.
Now, I had another incident with my vehicle but I have switched my insurance company and when I brought it in for a repair estimate they told me they wouldn’t even look at the car because they don’t deal with Allstate. I finally convinced them to submit an estimate for me to see if I could cover the balance of what would be owed and they never even got back to me. It’s been 4 weeks. It’s so disappointing that after purchasing this luxury vehicle that the certified services would be so poor.

I cannot say enough good things about Baker. David was amazing from start to finish. They repaired my car in record time without inconvenience, communicated with me along the way, and did it for the estimated cost. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could!

I don't know what it is about body shops and being "backed up" but apparently there is a huge need for collision repair these days. That being said, you absolutely shouldn't bring your vehicle to baker collision. I could get specific but you wouldn't belive how unprofessional they are, in both the lack of quality in the work to the poor management and customer service. Months and months will go by waiting for your vehicle and when it is finally done it will be dirty, freshly scratched, poorly painted and have loads of random repairs done to it. Good luck!

This place is the worst! They have had my vehicle for over 5 months. This fender bender has been nothing but a huge headache.The communication is a joke. I’m dealing with AMY. If I want to know something I have to call and ask. They aren’t very friendly and they never called me with updates. I’ve been going back and forth with them over labor cost ,that I wasn’t informed about.The other insurance company won’t pay the difference because Baker labor cost is the highest around. So now I have to pay $600 out of my pocket to get my car whenever it’s ready. When I called them today, I was rudely told “YOU WERE INFORMED ABOUT THE LABOR CHARGE WHEN YOU DROPPED OFF YOUR VEHICLE “ Well that’s a lie, because it was towed. I thought I was making a good choice by taking it there, because that’s where we bought it. I will not be going back there for anything! I wouldn’t recommend Baker to anyone!
LESSON LEARNED the hard way .
PSA check your labor charges with the shop and with the insurance so you don’t get crapped on like I did.So ridiculous!!

If I could give them negative stars I would. They lied to me and took my car out for joy rides to the tune of over 3000 miles. I had an oil change before I went to drop off my car and when I got it back 5 months later it was overdue by 2000 miles. They didn't fully fix my car and have had to deal with their bullshit excuses for too long. Steer clear of them and do not use them. I am mad usaa paid them over $13,000 for them to take advantage of their customers.

All the lights that came on in my vehicle after just 24 hours of pick up… on a 6 month vehicle repair. Don’t forget the TPMS light that was on the min I got in vehicle.
