First time and last time buying a car online. Spoke with call center quoted me wrong information. Got too dealership and it was a complete nightmare. Sales manager was a legit asshole. He was basically what you see is what you get. Had I been a yt person he would have ran around in circles for me. Sorry to insert race in there but thats what Im on. I wasn't walking out there without a car. Had too put an add'l $800 down. Ladies that work in the business office were very nice. Still waiting on my check for $299 per sales manager.

I had a really good car buying experience with G yesterday. He took the time to review the car report on each vehicle I looked at. He also didn’t get annoyed when I needed to do multiple test drives. G wanted to make sure that I loved that car I picked. I was really impressed by the way he didn’t oversell me and made sure I chose a car that had payments that I could afford. Thanks G and CarMax of Charleston!

The staff was very attentive and informative during the process of selling our car. They were patient with our questions and explained everything thoroughly. Whitney in the financial department was especially fun and helpful! An overall great experience!

Well, we were potential customers; but they saved us from themselves. It was 8:35pm. You close at 9pm. We were greeted with a "hello, we're closing soon". I already knew exactly what vehicle I wanted. When we were leaving no one made any attempt to even acknowledge we were leaving or tried to give a card or any information for following up. This could have easily been a quick sale, since I just received my settlement. But they misjudged us, their lack of customer service, and eagerness to shut down, although an half hour remained...again I have just received a large settlement, I could've paid for the car in full tonight. I will give this sale to a dealership more deserving.

My experience at Carmax was Amazing! I really like that you can look through all their cars on the lot without the pressure of a salesman. We looked at all the vehicles! Then scheduled a test drive online. Did the preapproval online. The process was so seamless, the day of our test drive, from the time we decided to purchase took less than 30 minutes. No stress, electronic signing and answered all our questions flawlessly!

I took my truck there to get it appraised and I knew from the time I entered the door that it was a huge mistake and going to be a waste of my time.They offered me 18,000 for a 2018 F150 Supercab with 52,000 miles on it and in mint condition.I don't find a truck like this for under 30,000 online.Stay away from this place.

I’m very disappointed with car max went thru all the proper paperwork they needed get an approval from car max then get to the dealer to pick up vehicle and they tell me that the paperwork is not done yet after I received and email that it wasTerrible terrible place don’t ever go there no one deserves to be treated like that

The people were very nice and friendly. I feel as though I got an actual person that genuinely wanted to communicate and help me rather than a salesman trying to get some commission. Excellent experience all the way around.

Disappointing. I found the truck I wanted after months of searching locally. The price and features were what I wanted. I had the truck shipped and purchased after test driving. Seems great but while I was signing the paperwork the car was damaged while cleaning. I decided to stay with the car as CarMax promised to fix the damage. After searching for so long I didn’t want to start the process again. The manager promised the repairs would be expedited and he would call the next morning to give me timeline, repairs needed etc…..never got that call. Called myself several days later they told me the car would be sent off to the body shop but they would call. Never got that call either. A week went by and I called again. Cinnamon was nice and actually called back that same day. She filled me in on the repairs. That was 2 weeks ago. I called today because no one there would actually reach out on their own. And still no return call for an update. I am disappointed with the promises the managers made with no follow through or communication….still have no idea when I’ll get my truck. I’ll make a payment before I actually get to drive it and the 30 day return policy will probably be up.

I was very impressed with the entire experience at CarMax. It was an easy, no-pressure event to walk the lot and select a car for a test drive. Once I made a purchase decision, the process to close the deal was quick and smooth. My maintenance requests were honored without resistance and without additional cost. I received a solid used car at a fair price.
