Hey I your food is amazing here but the reason why you are getting a lower star is because you’re chicken is always undercooked wich is a health code violation and needs to be fixed other than that your service is amazing and food is amazing no other complaints

For paying 2k a semester for a meal plan and this being the only place open on a Saturday with absolute horrible food options is completely unacceptable

City Bistro is a College of Charleston dining hall that offers a variety of different healthy food selections for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even dessert. They offer vegan and vegetarian options as well. There is both inside and outside dining, which is clean for the most part. The quality of the food isn't the best and half the time the soda machine doesn't have any soda in it (or ice for that matter), but that's not why I go here. As a college student, it's easier to hit up the dining halls than to spend money at all the restaurants downtown or prepare meals every day in your dorm (if you are lucky enough to have a kitchen!). They used to give out to-go boxes, but are no longer doing that so instead if you did not want to eat in or are in a hurry, you have to carry your plate full of food to wherever you are going or pay for a reusable container. The workers aren't there to please the customers...don't expect a smile with every service.

The food is pretty good overall, it's nothing to fancy but it's fine for what it is. I only rated it 4/5 stars tho because the fountains are broken sometimes. There have been a few times I've gotten soda out of the fountain but it tasted very flat and/or had no flavor so yeah.

Honestly of you aren't a college student dont eat there. They constantly run out of food and the food is subpar at best. Definitely not worth the price.

It's a campus dining hall so don't expect world class food, but you should and can expect a good meal. The ice cream machine tends to be broken though so that's not the best.

The food is good, but the atmosphere is very loud & crowded. The change up of open/close hours between City Bistro & Liberty Dining Hall has thrown my freshman for a loop.

Great for CofC students, if you're visiting CofC I think you can eat there, not sure on that though.
