I always find myself having an EXCELLENT experience with the ladies working there. They're so fun, smart, and give great product recommendations. 10/10 would recommend for all your skincare, makeup, and fragrance needs.

So... a customer wearing a medical mask because of respiratory concerns in this store is apparently against their security policy. When corporate was called their reply was simply "you can just order online". That is complete discrimination against someone with medical issues. Also the customer being embarrassed and told to leave as a person of color with medical issues will make for a strong lawsuit. The whole situation was heartless, compassionless, and discriminatory.

RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL !! DO NOT BUY HERE .My fiancé and I went Cos Bar last weekend and she fell in love with this fragrance which i thought it would be a great birthday gift for her . Tuesday afternoon I happened to get off of work early so I decided stop by and buy the fragrance for her . As i was getting of my van I was rapidly approached by a lady who told me " you cant park there! do you know how to read ?" i asked how did she know i wasnt going into the store and she answered " i just know you cant afford that store " so i told her she must read minds and i left . Rude old lady.

Had the same situation happened to me as the previous person's review. I had walked in with my mother and purchased over $200 worth of makeup. Since we were paying customers I asked if we could quickly walk across the street to order a lunch to go from a restaurant just a few feet down the street, out of respect for the sign that said parking was for customers only. Once one of the ladies at the shop said yes and gave us permission, my mother and I went to place a to-go order.However, the moment we left the store, someone came out and started taking pictures of my mothers car (her car was the only parked car in the parking lot for COS customers). We asked the person what they were doing and to stop taking pictures of the car. The person ignored us and pretended to start talking on the phone.I was so appalled by how my mother and I were treated after we had literally just spent so much on products from the shop. Furious, I returned to the store and returned the purchases. One of the ladies rudely shouted at me "Welcome to the South!" As I was leaving the store. Horrible horrible people work here! I would not recommend supporting this store with your money as a consequence of how they treat their customers.

Love this place! The sales rep who assisted me helped me with a beautiful foundation and some skin care products I had been wanting to try. Can't wait to go back on my next visit to Charleston!

All they care about is money.Parked my car in their parking lot outside. Walked around the side and finished my coffee for 4 minutes before walking in - trying to be respectful and not bring my drink in with me. What happened in those 4 minutes before I even walked inside ? I got booted….. charged me $50 before I even walked into the store. They didn’t care at all. 100% terrible that you’re going to boot a customers car!!!! I would’ve gladly spent the $50 on product but instead was charged $50 before even walking inside.You lost a lifetime customer and ruined your reputation.STAY AWAY FROM THIS CORRUPT BUSINESS.

The unprofessional and just downright disrespectful and rude behavior of the women working here is appalling. To walk into a store on King Street and not even be greeted is unheard of. My Coworker and I were looking for Tom Ford purse sprays and stopped in because we knew that they carry them. No one greeted us, the two older women stood around talking about what they had for dinner and never once asked us if we needed help. We had to interrupt there conversation to ask for what we wanted and even then they were reluctant to help or answer any questions. We ended up leaving without purchasing anything.It’s a real shame the way you treat potential customers

Megan was, without question, fabulous! She listened to what I wanted and did not oversell. Because she respected my request, I will always return to Cos Bar in Charleston. Additionally, I will recommend Cos Bar to everyone!!

I used to love this store! Had several amazing scent memories… however, the past few times I came in I’ve noticed a change. Not sure if there’s a new manager or something, but the people seem to not want to help, or talk with you about perfume. Also, I’ve noticed they’ve started displaying several more popular/ bro type scents for the less than average perfume connoisseur.

Sarah is awesome each time my mom and I visit & shop! Such friendly staff and I end up falling in love with so many amazing products! I could play in the store for hours, great selection & variety. One of my favorite downtown spots! ?

Cosbar had been my favorite cosmetic store for the last several years. BUT, today, January 5, 2022, after experiencing so much frustration attempting to order items from their so-called WINTER sale, I would NOT even give them 1star. I have repeatedly attempted to order from them. Initially, I was unsuccessful at ordering online (when the Winter sale first began.) And so I then called my local Charleston store to ask for help. I reached a telephone recording and asked them to return my call, explaining that I had been unable to place an online order. I have called again at least two more times and left word for a callback, all to no avail. I am NOT an incidental customer. Before COVID, I shopped the Charleston King Street Cosbar every time I went to Charleston, probably 5 or 6 times annually. I have spent hundreds of dollars with them. I wear Cle de Peau foundation and use other high end cosmetics, to which they introduced me. I am thoroughly confused about what their corporate office could be thinking. Zero customer service equals zero sales. At least with me, it does! Brick-and-mortar businesses have no right to complain about sales if they can’t offer equal or better service than their e-sale counterparts.
