The black girl with the red dreds is incompetent, unprofessional, unhelpful, and rude. It's amazing that she even has a job. A complete waste of time. Don't bother coming to this pharmacy.

The absolute worst. They are always understaffed and the overworked staff is often rude and exhausted. Wait times are way too long and the whole store looks like it hasn’t been restocked every time. I can’t wait to have my prescription moved to a different pharmacy.

Called to check on a prescription for Paxlovid at 9:30am and was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. After 3 more calls for a status update over the next 6 hours, with the last one telling them my symptoms were getting worse by the hour, they finally filled it. Just a note of advice: In our new Covid reality, If someone has an order in for an antiviral with a very short start window, you might want to consider fast-tracking it.

CVS is a bit tired and old but staff is great and pharmacy was very sharp and efficient. I would recommend to use this pharmacy and you will agree! Thank you!

I called to ask about getting my prescription filled here and the lady on the phone was extremely rude and acted like I was stupid for calling to ask if I could fill it there and then just said “bye bye” and hung up the phone.

This is by far the WORST pharmacy I have ever gone to. The staff, both pharmacists and techs, could not be more rude if they tried. Even when you call and say thank you at the end of the call, they just hang up on you. I truly cannot convey how rude they are, and it's every time, not just someone having a bad day. I've put up with their rudeness for a year, but I've had it. I'm transferring my scripts to another pharmacy. I'm sure CVS will actually be happy about that...one less customer to work with.

This is the worst pharmacy. The short, blonde-haired pharmacist is rude. I like to show up early in the day, in the hope that they won't be too stressed out like they always seem to be in the afternoon. It doesn't matter with that pharmacist. No matter what time of day you visit this pharmacy, she will treat you like a nuisance.

They are nice but the pharmacy is so slow. I stood there for 40 minutes for a RX one morning that was requested to be filled days earlier and was supposed to be ready. I'm sure they work very hard and this could have been an especially off day but it was very frustrating at the time. I ended up switching bc I couldn't stand going in there and waiting for so long

I recently switched to CVS as Walgreen's no longer takes my insurance. I could not be more pleased with the pharmacy staff. They don't have a huge staff but I rarely have to wait long and they are always friendly. The level of customer service is far superior to what I have experienced at Walgreen's. The CVS store is old but is always well stocked. My only major complaint is that I think the store has a mildew smell. I don't know if there's anything they can do about that, but it would surely change the experience! The staff should be commended for their excellent service. They are what will keep me coming back.

If you want to get yelled at and told to leave the store, go try and get a prescription filled here. There's no sign anywhere explaining any new policy so when I said, I'll just wait in that chair for my prescription, I was started to be verbally attacked by an angry pharmacist and instructed to get out and wait in my car. I am a senior citizen and was there to get antibiotic drops for a sudden eye injury that made it difficult for me to see and navigate back to my car. I explained that but I was expelled nonetheless. Will not be going back there.

CVS Pharmacy on Maybank Highway in James Island is a really good drug store and pharmacy choice. This location is very convenient and is very accessible to get in and out of. They have a lot in this store and I have been able to find exactly what I was looking for whether it be that one item or many items on a shopping trip. This store is well managed and organized and is reliable when you need.

I remember when CVS used to be People's Drug and it was where you went for meds. I've been a customer of theirs for over 30 years and have seen it go downhill. This location- the pharmacist today couldn't even be bothered to speak to me. I just had a simple question. I needed cold sore treatment for my son and the website said this location had what I needed in stock but it wasn't. I asked the assistant if she could check of other stores had it before I drove to another location. She wouldn't even check. She just flat out said no. The pharmacist also told her assistant to tell me to get Abreva for my 6 year old if the Lysine was out of stock. That is very horrible advice as the packaging says it is for 12 and older. Thankfully I knew that. The side effects can be serious. That's how apathetic and incompetent the pharmacist was. There was nobody even in line. I would never get a prescription filled here.

We have been loyal customers to this pharmacy and it has progressively gotten worse! We get notifications that our prescriptions are ready. We go to pick them up we're still having to wait anywhere from 20 minutes-2 hours. Because of her insurance this is where we have to get them filled. I am so sick of this place. They need new management or something at this pharmacy. if you can avoid going here at highly would.
