The pharmacy staff is the absolute worst here. Took 24 hours to get a prescription and I had to follow up multiple times. On top of that they tried to charge me the price without insurance despite me having insurance and providing it to them.

You want higher prices, then this is for you. For example, when I had my cataract surgery there were a number of medications which I needed to get. Suffice it to say that I was told to go to a local pharmacy other than CVS to obtain it for at least $100 less. I did, saved that amount (verified) and subsequently moved my prescriptions to that local pharmacy. That is part of the reason why I do not go back unless I absolutely, positively have to go there due to extreme time conflicts or whatever. The merchandise is almost always more expensive than any other retail establishments. Giving them three stars is a gift.

This CVS does some shady things in my estimation. Friday I got a text that my medication was ready. I had house guests so I didn't get to CVS until they opened Sunday morning. I was told they were out of the medication I needed and they were not sure when more were to be delivered. My question is, What happened to my meds? They seemed to have just given them away. Unethical. Branden B.

This review is in regards to the Minute Clinic inside this pharmacy. Use their service at your own risk. I selected this clinic for a test and paid their advertised fee of $139. The clinic NP sent me out to Quest Diagnostics for a blood draw. Quest is now billing me for $380. This additional fee, among other things, was not explained to me at the time of the service. If you're considering the CVS Minute Clinic beware of hidden charges.

Located in the heart of the College of Charleston. I just needed one item, found it and checked out. Pretty uneventful. The staff was friendly enough. A manager was positioned up front watching the flow. My assumption is it's due to theft. The store sees a ton of traffic, but seemed to be well stocked. 3.5

This is a great urban style pharmacy experience on the campus of the College of Charleston.

The pharmacist went above and beyond, calling me when the insurance did not seem to cover the drug as expected (I've experienced a pharmacy just fill a script and then surprise me with the sum at check out). Because of their great service, I was able to sort out the problem and get a corrected script sent by my doctor and the prescription filled before arriving at the pharmacy rather than going into the pharmacy and getting a nasty surprise at check out that ultimately would've resulted in a return trip.

Pharmacy hours aren't as stated on google. Very frustrating when arriving to pick up a prescription for a sick kid and pharmacy is shut down 2 hours before the time listed online. Please modify your hours online so others don't find themselves in the same debacle.

How bad can a CVS be you ask? On my recent visit, they ran out of bags, so customers had to carry out their groceries in their hands. Of the three automatic checkout machines, only one was working, and even that one required multiple visits from the cashier before it would let one checkout. With one cashier working, the line to pay wrapped beyond the checkout area and around the photo booth. How can a simple store be so badly managed?

The pharmacy dept needs better supervision. 10 people in the pick-up line, 1 person serving. The pharmacy employees seem to think that smiling would hurt their professional image.

CVS Pharmacy on George Street in Charleston is a great pharmacy and drug store that is conveniently located in the middle of Charleston. It is an easy walk from just about everywhere on the Peninsula and is great if you need something in a hurry and need to get in and out quick fast. They have a lot of things that you need including snacks, drinks, cards, and other personal items at a good price. I like the layout of the store and they way everything is organized as they are able to fit a lot in a small face with plenty of room to move around. The staff here is great and and friendly and does everything they can to help you and get you on your way. This is one of my favorite drug stores in Charleston.

For a CVS it's great. 24 hours it is open. The staff is nice and the pharmacist are helpful.
