I went in this store for the first time today and the sales associate did not greet me when I entered. I'm not from Charleston so I do not know how the atmosphere is. She would greet other customers that walked in after me and assist them. I walked around and continued to browse. The associate still would not acknowledge me and I was a few feet from her. I probably stayed 10mins and left. I know how important it is to make your customers feel welcomed into a store cause I have worked retail the last couple of years. I did not feel welcomed in this store. There wasn't much of a selection too be honest. I probably will not go back.

Beware there are no refunds only exchanges. Not told this when purchasing but “it’s in the fine print on the receipt”.

I really liked this shop. It's got a variety of styles available from casual to formal to trendy to classic, all at a reasonable price point. I got a pair of pants and bodysuit for less than $80! Would go again when in Charleston

Ok, being a guy I only went here to be with my wife. :) Am I the first guy to review Dress Up? Not that it's wrong. :):):) Another guy was seated in one of the comfy chairs while he waited for his wife to shop, I followed suit. Actually a nice place with VERY FRIENDLY people working there. I chatted it up with the ladies while my wife shopped, really helped the time pass. My wife found some dresses, 100% cotton that she said are sooooo comfortable. If they had a bar, I'd hang out there! :) :) :) So, my wife told me to leave a favorable review for this fine dress shop. \o/

I love me some DU! Found them on Instagram (@shopdressup) last year in "shops". It was a breeze to purchase these directly through Instagram and to select sizes and colours and to pay. I am not trendy. I am all about cute, comfortable, and classic clothes in beautiful colours, styles, great quality, and at a good price. I bought this dress in size small in four colours (olive green, pictured, royal blue, burgundy, and classic red). They all fit perfectly! They land at mid-thigh (front) on me at 5'7" and hang longer in the back to keep the rush appropriately covered no matter how ample the tushy. The material is soft and has a considerable amount of stretch to it. The sleeves fit tight from the shoulder to the wrist but not so much so that you cannot pull them up. There is A LOT of movement to this dress so I chose to wear short exercise shorts under it to keep from flashing the masses. Last week, DU had several items on sale so I purchased a few more similar tiered dresses in muted colours from them through their IG shop. They shipped THE SAME DAY! I got notifications through each step of my order. Their quality and price is still on point! So many dresses...so little time.

First day spent on King Street as we drove in from Texas for a vacation and found this amazing little boutique when walking! Everything was 40% off and absolutely adorable and great quality! The shop was clean, super well maintained and had extremely friendly employees. I ended up buying an adorable Aztec pullover that was on display. Thanks for a great experience!
