I recently bought a Titleist Tsr4 driver from Edwin Watts. When I made the purchase, they did not give me the adjustment tool for the driver. I returned to the store to get the tool, as the Titleist website says that the purchase includes the tool. The sales associate who sold me the driver reluctantly gave me a Cobra tool (not even Titleist) when I told him that Titleist says the tool comes with the purchase. Another associate commented "we're not Titleist." There are too many other shops in the Charleston area where you can get a good club fitting and purchase at comparable or better prices than Edwin Watts. I'll be taking my business elsewhere!

I had an appointment to be fitted this morning at Club Champion. I am a novice golfer and they told me before we started my appointment that a driver from them would cost upwards of $1000 due to it being fully custom. I am newer to the sport and he was kind enough to recommend I try Edwin Watts for a cheaper setup and fitting. When I walked in I was not greeted or asked if I needed help, hence the 4 stars, but I grabbed someone and he was very knowledgeable and patient with me. We took to the simulator and he told me everything I was doing wrong and helped me adjust my swing then let me try a few different clubs. It almost felt as if I got fitted and a lesson today. Once I picked all my clubs out I went to check out and the prices were slightly less than what was shown on the club so I walked out spending less than I originally added up. In addition to my great experience he reminded me that they have a 90 day policy and if I don't like anything I can bring it back and get 100% credit towards anything else in the store! Y'all earned a new customer today and I would like to shoutout the older gentleman that helped me and was very patient with my bad swings and form, I believe his name was Brian. Thanks Edwin Watts Golf!

Walked in looking for a set of irons, a driver, putter & new bag. Was coldly greeted at the door by an associate that promptly walked in the opposite direction and stood in the front area like a mannequin. I was not offered any assistance and when I asked if they had a particular set of irons, their response was, “Probably not.” I seemed to bother them by asking if they perhaps had a set in their network. Was told, “Maybe.” It was a complete waste of time and perhaps the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. I’ll take my money ($3,000)…and more importantly…my time, to another local golf shop in the area.

They had my clubs for 3 weeks and lied to me about 20 times, and handed me my clubs back with 0 work done. They couldn’t even check the lie and loft on my irons. The younger guys inside are cool and nice though.

The staff was very polite and helpful, (especially Robert A.). They have a huge selection of top of the line used clubs. They only have a few new ones, but a lot of new putters. They also have clothes, balls, and anything else golf related. I went to get fitted (which was for free) for some clubs, and they said that I was 1/2 an inch under standard with a stiff flex. I ended up buying a TaylorMade Sim 2 Max using these measurements. Days later back at my house I realized that the guy gave me a senior flex on my driver. Then when I was hitting this driver exactly 5 days later on my 4th swing with it, ( my swing is 85-95 mph) the club head came flying off on impact going around 150 yards onto the range and cracking it. Turns out when the guy cut the shaft, he didn't apoxee it nearly as good as it should've been. I had a warranty on it, and would've had to drive 3 hours on a weekend to this store so that they could look at it. Thankfully I contacted TaylorMade directly and they are currently sending me a new head. The store has a good variety and nice employees, but I just didn't have a great experience.
