Myself and my son went Friday to get hair cuts I do not know the lady’s name but she had jet black hair and was in the first chair on the left. She butchered mine and my sons hair she should have her license taken away. I didn’t think about getting a photo of my sons hair before it was fixed and by fixed I mean they had to SHAVE all of my baby’s hair off to fix her extreme screw up. But I did get a photo of mine. She needs to lose her job. And I should get my money back!!

My 11-year-old son got his hair cut at this location for the first time today. Both of us are very particular, but his stylist Jessica made it happen. His cut was exactly like the picture we had shown her. She was wonderful making conversation with my son and not just talking to me, which goes a long way. My only "complaint" is that it can be a challenge to get an appointment. However, this may be a reflection of the great work, friendly stylists, and clean COVID cautious environment you get there. I will be making another appointment in the future.

This location is never open anymore. Only giving 1 star to get corporate’s attention because the manager and staff here are wonderful and I’ve had many good cuts here. They need to figure out how to help their manager staff so they can be open because having her out cutting hair all day doesn’t allow her the time to interview new staff…throw the poor woman some help and quit being useless corporate minions!

I'm leaving this review for two reasons. First, because this Great Clips is awesome. It's in a convenient location, and it offers a good service at a good price. I only require a simple haircut, and I haven't had any issues after coming here for almost a year. Second, because for the past two weeks, this Great Clips has been temporarily closed. I'm hoping this review will help their business in some small way to prevent any future closures, because they deserve it for offering such a good service. If you're in West Ashley and are looking for a well-priced, quality haircut, this Great Clips is the spot for you.

Tried out for the first time this morning and had a great experience: online check-in was easy, had a short wait once I arrived, and Kirsten (sp?) was friendly and did a great job. Was also impressed at how other employees handled a dissatisfied customer and stayed professional despite some harsh comments.Would recommend and will be back.

Stay away especially from the new hairdresser Alden who apparently had no training and supposedly has 2 years experience, more like 2 days. I went today to get my regular pixy cut and I walked out with uneven hair and bald spots it will takes months for my hair to grow back.I will have to wear a hat to go out any where which will suffocate what hair I have left. The back of my head has bald spots. I can’t attend meetings because I can’t wear a hat to work.I will never go back and I will be contacting management this is not acceptable this hairdresser or I should call the girl the butcher has ruined my life.I will be contacting corporate

Even using their online check in didn’t help. They have a ton of customers in the waiting room and checked in but yet only 2 people working there and they aren’t in any rush taking their sweet time. With the amount of traffic this place has they need at least 5-6 people working.

Today I got the worst haircut of all time. I have no idea if she was drunk or blind but I'll let the picture tell the story. Not sure if she tried but definitely think she needs to rethink careers.

Poor customer service. Could not sign in onlineGot to West Ashley Circle location. No customers in shop. No one waiting or getting cut. Two stylists said could not take me because of online check-ins. Again-no customer in store. My haircut might take ten minutes tops. With online snot checked in store a stylist could have worked me in knowing I would not be interfering with online clients. Chose to turn away a customer with an empty store. If onlines are not in store-possibly they are late or no shows. Poor customer service decision making..will not go back and definitely not recommend.

I went in on a Monday, kind of a busy day in this salon, but I checked in online and got the call. 56 minutes gave me time to get dressed and get a taxi, and it was raining, but since they're closed on Tuesday, I went anyway. I'm a retired lady, and I was amazed at the price of a haircut. The rate for seniors and kids is a VERY reasonable $16.00. I had gotten a terrible cut, really lopsided, at another W. Ashley salon, and my hair was a mess. I paid over $30 for a really lousy cut, which the salon said they would charge me $30 more because the "stylist" was no longer working there. So as I said, my hair was a mess. When I walked in the door, Kirsten chirped, "Hello....welcome to Great Clips." It was a lovely place, with great music and the atmosphere was easy and relaxing. I sat for about 30 minutes and chatted with other patrons while I watched the other people getting haircuts. Kirsten, bless her heart, listened to exactly what I wanted, and she gave me the BEST haircut I have ever had. She was absolutely delightful, and she almost seemed to dance around my chair while she cut my messy haircut into shape. I tipped her 30%.....well worth it! This salon is fantastic, and so was Kirsten.
