Macaroons were cracked just like the owners. I was ready to buy a lot of product but the terse attitudes of the man running the shop made me not want to spend any money there. If you're looking for quality french desserts without the attitude, visit Le Patisserie down the same block, they have the most amazing desserts I've ever tasted. Feed yourself and not his ego, go elsewhere.

Absolutely worst experience in Charleston. I asked if croissants were made fresh, he had a disgusting attitude. Stay away. Your money is good elsewhere.

My wife and I stopped at this bakery after touring Charleston we absolutely love the vanilla gelato was the best we ever had and you have to make a special trip to this bakery if you ever in Charleston I was a little displeased at the drip coffee it was not French roast and that disappointing me a little bit but I have to give this place for out of five stars and I can’t mess if you’re ever in Charleston

The owners are so friendly. The little shop is so cute and they have a delicious pastries. You can find macaroon with different flavors but also excellent chocolatine and crescent. They are excellent. The chocolate bar is excellent as well. So don’t hesitate try it and enjoy the good sweet taste.

Don’t get me wrong the macaroons were good but with that being in the name I expected more variety. There were really only 3 or 4 and they were already packaged in a variety pack or a large pack of all one flavor. I noticed almost all of the other bakeries and chocolate shops had a much larger selection.

Best macaroons I have ever had! The owners are so kind and funny. Every time I come they make lots of conversation. They are a little pricey but considering the food is amazing and it is downtown, it kinda makes sense.

Best macaroons, even beating Disney! Go if you have a chance, their hours are limited, so snag some of you have a chance. Good wine, too, especially if you're staying in a hotel nearby! The best picture I could snap was one of the last macaroons before it was eaten!!!!

This was our second visit to the Perfect French Bakery. The owners remembered us and greeted us like old friends. They make you feel like it's "YOUR" Neighborhood bakery. The most AMAZING almond croissant I, most likely, will EVER have!!!!! Coming back to Macaroon was a 13th birthday wish for our daughter. No iphone, apps, or technology wanted...."lets go back to Macaroon Boutique". If that doesn't say it all, then I don't know what does. It is exactly these type of small business that brings the charm you expect, when coming to Charleston. Please support them. Great people making a Fantastic product. You won't regret one bite!
