Bad service experience. I left my 2025 explorer this morning for oil change and recall. The did some thing else extra that I did not request, and charged over 200 dollars without my consent to do the service. Never gonna work with them again. I do not recommend.

Terrible service department. They never answer the phone. Was told repair would take 2 days. That was over a week ago. No updates, no phone calls. Can’t reach anyone to find out what the deal is. Will be bringing my business to the Ford in goose creek from now on.

No one comes out on arrival to help. Charged $150+ for oil? Change and tire rotation. Again no one tells. Me when my car is washed (they included )

Outstanding. This business is A Blessing to the state of South Carolina, for safety, speed of service, and Quality of service done. I had our brake controller installed with a conservative price for my 2017 Ford F-150.

I’ve had a few rough experiences but I got hooked up with this extraordinary advisor, Allen, who makes a real effort to learn and understand what is wrong with your car. I watched wash a car when no one was around for an older couple. A nice supervisor Jon M always works hard and knows his stuff. Dont expect any bargain rates but my eyes are opened now to how hard some of them really work there.

New f150, LED tail light stopped working. Took it to Palmetto, they diagnosed it as a bad digital control module and said they’d order the parts and get me back in to replace the part. Two weeks later, I had not heard from them, so I called. They said the order had been canceled by the supplier so they had to order from somewhere else, but it should be in soon. Another week later I had not heard from them so I called again. They said the part had not arrived, but they had heard back from the technician at Ford and they wanted to pull some more codes off the vehicle and asked if I could just bring it in real quick. I brought it back in and then they told me that they needed it for an entire day for more diagnostic. Keep in mind this is for a tail light not working.
I brought it back and left it with them for another full day of diagnostic after which they said now we think the problem is a small crack in the tail light allowing water in so you’ll need to buy a new tail light at your expense because warranty doesn’t cover it. Not happy about this but it is what it is. I bring it back in a third time when the new tail light is there and leave it for the whole day. I get a text that my truck is ready and I come to pick it up and pay for it, $1762.
After all of that, they lost my truck, and it literally took them a full hour of riding around the lot in their golf cart and reviewing video surveillance footage to find out who parked my truck and where it was.
Ella the service writer I worked with was very pleasant and apologetic and none of this was her fault, but the whole experience was not good.

I recently brought in my new Lincoln Nautilus Reserve for some minor adjustments and software updates, and the experience was exceptional. Bob, the manager, and Sharon were professional, friendly, and incredibly attentive. The concierge pickup and delivery service by Harold was especially appreciated, as the updates and parts required multiple trips—but they were consistently prompt and reliable, always making sure the vehicle was picked up and returned exactly when and where needed. Bob also worked closely with the Lincoln manager Nick to make sure I had a brand-new Nautilus to drive during the process. Truly above-and-beyond service—I couldn’t be more pleased!

Extremely unprofessional service dept, and the wait time is very long. Took my vehicle in at 8:00 for a scheduled oil change and tire rotation and was there almost 2 1/2 hrs. I highly recommend that Ford customers look elsewhere for their service needs.

I’ve had a few tricky service issues with my vehicle, and Greg Engert has been amazing every time. Even when I was stressed or frustrated, he was always patient, kind, and focused on helping. Most recently, he dealt with a third-party insurance situation and made sure everything went smoothly—and fast. He really went the extra mile to get my car back quickly, which meant a lot with 6 kids depending on it. Super grateful for Greg—highly recommend!

Absolute worst service I have ever experienced. I'm not going into specific detail because it's just too much to type. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else but here and believe all of the bad reviews that have been written. I wish I could give them 0 stars!

scheduled to have the oil changed on my F150, when dropping off i asked to have the heat checked since it seemed like it wasnt getting too hot. when the service advisor pulled my truck into their service bay she told me the backup camera wasnt working and asked if i wanted that checked too. never had a problem with the camera before but i said yes. i also asked to have the brakes that since they had previously replaced kept squeaking. was told their would be 3 separate diagnostic charges to which i agreed. 2 days later i was told im looking at 5,000 in repairs to fix my heat (water pump replaced), hoses for my turbo, my backup camera and my cabin filter, which they already replaced some months prior during the last oil change, all needed replaced. got a 2nd opinion, $250 later my heat is working, no water pump needing replaced, no hoses needing replaced, backup camera working great as it has been. shared this with their service manager and he didnt seem to care.

I wanted to thank Jennifer Pace. She is the best service advisor! She kept communication clear and consistent throughout my entire service process. She also helped me set up a seamless loaner vehicle program. Couldn’t have received a better experience! Thank you so much to the entire Palmetto Ford team.

Palmetto Ford has some serious scheduling issues. I had to wait forever just to get an appointment for my truck, and when I finally got in, it felt like the technicians were trying to talk me out of getting my car serviced there. They mentioned that depending on what I needed, it could be several more weeks before they could get to it. I understand that shops get busy, but the lack of urgency and communication was frustrating.
That said, the staff was polite, and I know they’re probably doing their best with the workload. If you’re not in a rush and can plan way ahead, it might be fine, but for anything urgent, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had getting my car serviced. I came in for an oil change, a recall, and an annoying noise my dash was making after verifying if they accepted my service contract. Service Agent was Ella Rossi.
I dropped my car off Wednesday at 7:30 am with an appointment and did not receive it until Saturday with which they had not even fixed my dash issue. There was little to no communication or restitution and even though I have a service contract tied to my VIN they still made me pay $150 for an OIL CHANGE.
I’d highly recommend taking your car elsewhere to be serviced in a timely manner.

No one was available to check me in for my appointment at 830. I waited for 15 minutes, asking for help from other departments but was just redirected back to the service department. The parking lot alone was a pig sty with no where for customers to park. I'm sure they do good work, it's just extremely disfuncional and disorganized. All I needed was a new key fob and an update to my power control module for a recall. Should have taken a half hour, max. I eventually just left. Would recommend any other Ford dealership in the area.
